My family of 6 booked the 4 hour fishing charter 2 months in advance. We arrived in anticipation of a great day. We were NOT disappointed. Our captain, Jim Scott, and his first mate were friendly, funny and very informative. Everyone on the boat caught something, although we did not anticipate this, we were very pleased. It is called FISHING and not CATCHING after all. I would go with Catmandoo again, in an instant. The prices are right on target with other fishing charters and they have absolutely no control over Mother Nature. Thank you! This was the highlight of our vacation!

My family was staying in Sea Pines. ResortQuest, which manages the rental house, had 1 recommendation in their brochure for charter fishing: Catmandoo. The experience was a classic case of false advertising. For $ 395, Catmandoo promised a 4 hour fishing trip. Instead we spent the first two hours looking for bait… Literally two hours trying to find essential bait for the trip. We found ourselves wondering, is this experience similar to a New York cabdriver, keeping the meter running while passengers were forced to wait for an oil change, before being taken to their destination? It was obnoxious. Ultimately, we were able to fish for one of the four hours we were out there with Capt. Pete. We asked for some reduction in price and were flipped the bird. Save your money and watch bassmasters on ESPN2 instead. And, if you’re dying for the Capt. Pete experience ask your wife to yell at you during the show. Bad experience.
