D & M Hispanic Restaurant

Nice family and great food. I used to go here a little too much but the mofongo is so delicious. Here is a hint you can get it without the cracklins and it taste the same.

I saw the name and thought it was going to be a cliché Hispanic restaurant in Hinesville. I was craving it one weekend and drove by. I had even hyped my friend up on how good it was going to be, but I didn’t know they weren’t open on the weekend. That following Monday I just knew I was going to having me some platanos.
We pulled up and the parking lot was seemingly vacant which I didn’t know if it was because we were «early» or if the food was going to be bad. Turns out we were just early. I walked in and I was instantly transported to Abuelita’s house. The décor was unexpectedly perfect. For those not familiar with Hispanic/​Caribbean culture this place is authentic.
The food was perfectly seasoned and my chicken was full of flavorful juices. My platanos which I craved so much were sweet and perfectly cooked. I definitely recommend this to everyone in Hinesville.

My husband and I ordered to go. We got the tripleta, the lunch special (pollo fricasse) and Mofongo con Lechon. Everything was deliscious. Everyone was polite. We will definitely be returning and would recommend to anyone. Only downfall is they are only open from 11 — 2.

The best restaurant in Hinesville!!! Fantastico Restaurante!!! Family Own and Family atmosphere… a fresh feel of Republica Dominicana!!! Caribbean food delicious and just out of the oven!!! A Must Go Restaurant!!! No Alcohol.

Great Caribbean food. Stopped by for lunch, we had the ropa vieja (shredded beef in a delicious sauce) for lunch, it was awesome. Highly recommended.

The oxtails here are delicious! Be sure to call and see what’s available from the menu, though.
Overall, this restaurant is very clean (don’t let the rundown strip mall fool you). The service is good and the portions are generous.

Went here awhile back and felt it wasn’t anything too exciting.
Our group went in and sat down and being one of two groups in there. It took almost 10 minutes to get water and menus. The food was just sub par for my taste. When I paid they ended up charging my card 3 times for the same meal and had to go back for a refund. I might try it one more time but I was not impressed.

Wow is all I have to say… can the people here be and ruder? It makes not even want to go back after you been there once! All you think about is when you come the owner (the lady) is going to throw your food at you and act like you why are you here? But on the other side where else can you get Dominican food in Hinesville!

the food is really good. authentic home made food just like mom used to make… almost. however the old lady has a very bad temper and does not act professional. i have eaten here i would say about 10 – 15 times.
