Rude. Pretentious. Overpriced.
Did I mention rude?
Didn’t supply boxes or bags for gifts never mind asking what things were for. $ 150 for two outfits. AND, They are RUDE!!! I won’t step foot in here ever again and will let others know not to go in there.
ATTITUDE PROBLEM EMPLOYEES. HOLIER THAN THOU.
No thank you.
Being followed around like you’re a shop lifter doesn’t help. You can’t even walk around the store without an escort. Who treats customers like this?! It’s 2014 people, act accordingly.
And it smelled really bad in there.

I went in here today because of the great reviews here. The store IS really great, with brands and products that really appeal to me. I had to kick two stars off for the lady that followed me and walked on my heels the whole time throughout the whole store. I walked to the side, she followed me. I walked to the back, she followed me, I walked to the middle, she followed me, I walked to the back again, she followed me, I walked to the front– you guessed it, she followed me. I don’t know if she was handicapped and she was just trying to be helpful, but its a HUGE turnoff to feel like a 14 year old who’s going to steal something whenever you’re pregnant and just want to have a peaceful moment to shop and reflect for your future arrival.

Great selection of clothing for kids. Bought my daughter’s Easter dress here as well as shoes, and an Easter bonnet and a Christening bonnet. I’ve also bought gifts for friend’s kids here. Everything is wonderful. They sell Vineyard Vines, Patagonia, Lilly Pulitzer and other brands here, so the variety is excellent.
The women who work in here are very nice and very helpful. Sometimes too helpful, but that’s just the kind of service you get here.

Despite the fact that I hate stores that include the word «shoppe» for shop in their name, this is a gem of a store in dowtnown Hingham. They have absolutely adorable baby and children’s clothes and other items that are irresistible. Whenever I’m shopping for a baby or children’s clothing gift, this is one of my fiirst go-to places. You’ll find things that are unique and differ from the typical Baby Gap fare. And by now, those of you who know me, know that I will favor a local business with good products and great service over a chain. This is one of those places.
