Long’s Window Care

I’m a first time window cleaner user and I can honestly say it was nearly a life-​changing experience for me!
They must use some kind of cleaner because my entire house smelled sooooo amazing when they were done — and I came home hours later!
My windows came out fantastic and now I know how dirty they actually were!
I will be an annual user of Longs Window Care for years to come.

Initially was a little disappointed. However, Nick and his staff made things right. That’s the sign of a true business owner and someone who listens and cares. Thank you Nick! Recommend anytime for this work!

I would not recommend Long’s Window Care.
The negatives:
* Two different people who were cleaning my windows damaged parts of the windows and neither of them called the damage to my attention.
* They do not clean the window sills — they merely vacuum up the loose dirt that’s on the surface. My sills are not clean at all.
The positives:
* Very friendly & courteous — booking an appointment was a great experience.
* The window glass and screens are very clean — they did an excellent job with that.
* They did come back to see one of the broken window pieces & they did give me cash so that I could replace the part.
When I booked my window cleaning appointment with Long’s, I felt really good about giving them my business. They were professional and courteous over the phone, and very on top of booking my appointment.
I was, however, not satisfied with the job they did, as I believe they only half completed it and damaged two plastic window pieces in the process. As mentioned above, the sills were not cleaned at all. I did call them to tell them I was not satisfied with this, and they told me that the sill cleaning service they offer is just a vacuuming of the sills and that «everyone has a different definition of what constitutes ‘clean’».
A small piece of plastic (a window latch) was completely broken during the cleaning. I understand that accidents happen, and the latch is an inexpensive piece, so it’s not like this was major damage. What bothered me was that the person who broke it did not call it to my attention, and I am sure he knew that he had accidentally damaged my window. I called this to Long’s attention as well, and they did come back and give me some money so that I could replace the latch.
Later on in the evening, I noticed another plastic piece had been broken off of a window upstairs — it was a small plastic hook used to wrap the blind strings around. Again, this was not brought to my attention by the person who broke it.
I was very much hoping to write a great review for Long’s, but I would not recommend their services. My sills are still dirty and I now have to order a new latch and repair the damage that was done. I would have felt a little bit better about the service if they had at least acknowledged at the time of service that they had accidentally damaged my windows.

If you are looking for exceptional service and windows that are cleaned in the most professional manner, you will want to use Long’s Window Care. We had our windows cleaned today by a great crew and are enjoying the cleanest windows, sills, and screens that you can image. Exceptional!

B E W A R E ! ZERO stars! Long’s broke our deck railing and would not pay for the damage/​repair. Nick, the owner said he didn’t want to incur the cost of his $ 500.00 deductible. The repair is in excess of $ 10,000.00. DO NOT do business with these low-​lifes (and I’m not just talking about how they look). They break screens and aren’t very good at washing windows either.
