I am lucky to have found Dr. Bilstrom. He is a preventative medicine doctor but I am seeing him because I have Hypothyroidism. After many doctors prior to him wrote me prescription after prescription without trying to get the root of my health issue, I finally have a plan to getting better. I’ve seen over 5 doctors in the last 5 years to discuss my fatigue and pain only to be told it was nothing. Dr B has listened to my concerns and orders lab work regularly. Thankfully he is in network with health insurance plan. I’ve stuck with him longer than I’ve stuck with any doctor before. He listens to my symptoms more than the labwork and is willing to hear me out and work together. I am also regularly meeting with the Nutritionist, Karla, in his office who is fantastic. They understand that healing your body isn’t only about the medication. It is about eating right for your body and health issues. I am taking quite a few supplements that they recommend for me specifically, but none have they pushed me to purchase from them. I buy them directly on Amazon and on Vitacost to save money. So please don’t feel that they are prescribing supplements to make money on that — because I’ve been a patient for about 7 months now and have yet to buy anything from them. And the thyroid medication costs me $ 10 per month(and insurance doesn’t pay anything on that) — that is really the cost of Armour Thyroid. He is a quality doctor who LISTENS to you and TOGETHER we put together a plan.

All I know is my wife went their for a acute back problem. Acupuncture is the last resort. After $ 600 worth of tests, visits, vitamins, blood tests, they still have not looked at her back??? They tell her that her body is not releasing all of its impurities. OK, what about her back? They want more visits, chiropractor, yada yada, yada. I will try to rescue at least $ 60 for the vitamins which after comparing them to a generic multivitamin, it turns out they are nothing more than a double strength multivitamin! Of course, Insurance covers nothing until you drop $ 600…
