It is bad enough finding a regular doctor I can peacefully coexist with, so when the time came for me to choose a vascular surgeon, I nearly freaked. I asked for suggestions from my dialysis clinic, and received about four choices, one of them being Dr. Dillon. So after playing a quick game of eenie-meenie-minie-moe, I picked this group to work with. Ha! I could not have picked a better surgeon if I had actually tried! Everywhere I ended up for my appointments, the staff was unbelievably nice, efficient, and the wait times were always minimal. Everything was just so well organized and flowed well. Dr. Dillon is seriously my new hero. I needed an AV fistula placement for permanent dialysis access. Which means, in fast terms, cutting my forearm open and moving a bunch of shit around. After meeting with the good Dr., and him taking the time to explain the procedure in detail, I was sold, and scheduled my surgery for the following week. Surgery itself went swimmingly. I pretty much cried afterwords, not because of pain or the wicked looking stitches, but because he purposely avoided cutting directly through the memorial tattoo to my mother which is on my forearm. Follow up appointment, and stitches removal was equally painless on all accounts, and the surgery was an overall success. So if ever in the market for this type of surgery, you cannot go wrong with Dr. Dillon!
