located right above alixandra blue in downtown hinsdale, this is the sister store to alixandra right down the street.
while alixandra is relatively casual, i would call hollis it’s upscale sibling. clothing here is higher priced and i would think it uncommon to find anything below $ 100. that being said, the owner of this chain of small boutiques has a wonderful eye for fashion and everything is always beautiful and on trend. brands such as nicole miller, hale bob, and joie can be found here. it’s a small little space, wonderfully organized and clean, and filled with gorgeous clothes. plus, everyone is always lovely and helpful! when my mom found a lush cashmere sweater she just had to have for christmas, they had convenient little notecards made up for wishlists. & they kept them at the store so when i went back with my dad a few days later, they simply pulled up her notecard, found the sweater, and rang us up. took less than 5 minutes! (i would say my dad was seriously impressed… and relieved.)
