The Lashe Spot

I have tried so many eyelash places, and this one is by far the best. They make it so comfortable that I practically fall asleep. As I always look gorgeous when I leave. It is expensive – they all are – but when I look in the mirror, it’s worth every penny. Ask for Claudia!

I visited last night. Mireya did my perm and tint. She was awesome. She stayed late for me because she knew I was coming a distance to try them out. She was very professional. My lashes look awesome. Thanks Mireya!

All I can say is that the lash spot in hinsdale is HORRIBLE!
I called to schedule an appt. on 6÷11÷14 and right from the start there was a problem. The gentlemen that answered the phone put me on hold for 15 mins. While scheduling my appt. we got disconnected, though I called back and was on hold again for 5mins I finally got an appt for that same day @ 4pm and specified that I wanted to go to the location in hinsdale. When I walked in for my 4pm appt. i was basically greeted with who are you and what are you doing here! I introduced my self and explained that I was here to get my lash extensions and had a 4pm appt. The Spanish women responded with no you don’t we both have clients at 4pm and there name is not what you stated. I explained that I made an appt for 4pm today and just drove 30 miles to there location. They kept telling me that I probably was confused and came to the wrong location. they called there chicago location and someone made my appt for there chicago location. Finally one of the ladies said «fine I will do your lashes“I have had my lashes done every 3 – 4 weeks for the last 2years and I have never had such a shitty job
took her only 20 mins. to apply a full set, and it burned like crazy. when she gave me the mirror to see I couldn’t notice that I had lashes applied.
My lashes were applied on Wednesday by Saturday all of my lashes were gone, not that anyone noticed that I got them done anyways. When I told everyone that I had my lashes done the next day, no one believed me. Please don’t go to this place they are rude and do a very crappy job. I spent 75 $ cuz of the groupon and no one noticed and what ever lashes she applied were gone in 3 days.

This place is wonderful! I’ve been an eyelash junkie for 3 years and I gotta say the quality of work at The Lash Spot is undeniably superior to any other places I’ve been to. My lashes still look great after 2 – 3 weeks! It’s a bit on a pricey side but so worth it.
The salon in Hinsdale is always super clean and it smells so good inside! They play chill loungy music and give you a neck pillow so I almost always drift into sleep when I get my fills done. Very comfortable reclining chairs too.

Graciela is amazing! I have gone to many salons for eyelash extensions. Graciela is the best by far. I have never been happier, they are pricer than most but if you can grab a groupon it’s worth it. Graciela delivers and the lashes last.

So a friend tells me the other day, that she is off to get a «lash perm» and did I want to come along.
«Huh?» was my uneducated reply. «What’s a lash perm?»
Well, it turns out that a new Lash Spot has opened out in the «burbs’, in downtown Hinsdale, no less. A sister shop to the one in the city on Erie– this new eyelash boutique does it all for eye brows and eye lashes– from standard waxing and tinting to their specialty service of eyelash extensions.
Now I was blessed with my mom’s great eyelashes so I didn’t think extensions or a perm were in order for me– but I wanted to go along and check this place out…afterall…a little glam in anyone’s life can «change the game» if you know what I mean!
We walked in a few minutes before her appointment time. Know that if you cancel and don’t meet their 24 hour cancellation period– that your credit card will still be charged service or not– so get there!
We were warmly greeted and as I settled in to wait– I was given a brief tour of the place and told that they could «open up my eyes» even more with a few strategically placed lashes on the outer eyes. The cost for this procedure runs $ 75 — $ 150 depending on the skill level of the technician. I passed, but maybe for that next big night out. .. .…
Oh– and if you want to go out with a full set of eyelash extensions that last about a month…the going rate is $ 250 — $ 500 again dependent upon the level of the technician. This process takes anywhere from an hour and a half to two hours to complete, as the lashes are put on one at a time, but you should see the way you look when you walk out. A woman was finishing up when we were walking in, and she looked fantastic.
About this time– my friend’s «perm» was done, she paid her $ 70 and we were on our way. But not before I glanced in the mirror and at that moment knew that I would be back. After all, a little glam is good for the soul!
