Love this place. Never had a bad bite here and they have great service. No cheap chopsticks the way some places give you. Their Black Samurai roll is my fav of any place I’ve ever been. Takes a little longer to prepare but totally worth it. None of their rolls are smothered in sauce and always have great flavor.

I decided to give Fuji Sushi a second try. It was about the same as the first. The food for the price wasn’t great, the miso was still bleh, and it feels old. 2 stars is all its getting out of me it seems. I doubt I’ll be back. Underwhelming puts it mildly. I went at lunch time in a weekday, and was disappointed. The sushi was good enough, but the miso was bland and lacked the punch that miso should have. As for the shumai that I was assured was made in house, it was frozen in the middle.

My family has been coming here since they’d opened. Really nice sushi for a simple sushi place.

The sushi here was very good. We ordered off the traditional sushi menu and thought it was very good. I like the idea of sushi rolls inspired by their customers. Next time we go we may try some of those. I was not as impressed with the service here and some of the other reviewers. Now it may have been that the place was very crowded almost no seat. There were two servers working that night and they didn’t seem to be coordinating what they were doing some people were getting lots of service while others were getting only spotty service. But that didn’t really affect our experience all that bad. I expect to go back here very soon.

The service in this place is amazing. I love sushi but most times I have to settle for taste OR service unless I’m willing to pay almost $ 20 for a role at an upscale Japanese restaurant. But this place is better than any I’ve ever tried. The inside is simple, definitely no fancy décor or low lighting, but who cares right? It was packed and yet I was able to sit immediately without a wait. The waitress was new so she couldn’t recommend a roll(when trying new places I always ask the waiters to suggest something on the menu-prevents me from going the«safe» route), so I went with a chef roll $ 13 and steamed dumplings. Now fair warning, I used to live off of Buford hgwy so I’ve become accustomed to the local dumplings spots over there. While the dumplings here were good, it wasn’t filled like the ones I have at Chef Lui’s, however I wouldn’t be quick to assume that these are store bought dumplings either. Again, as far as sushi goes, this place is a 10. Dumplings? Eh, I’ll give them a 5. Moving on to the roll. I forgot the name of the one I chose but I literally did an inny meeny miny moe when choosing it. It’s sushi, I didn’t really care. Took a few minutes to come out but when it did it was huge. 10 rolls of deliciousness. It was fried though… that made me sad because I don’t understand the point of «fried» rolls, nevertheless I really enjoyed it. It wasn’t too heavy and the rice did not fall off as I picked them up and dipped it into my soy sauce. Although I ate by myself, the waitress and who I’m assuming is the owner, continued to check on me and refill my drink. They were very sweet, patient, and attentive. All the things needed in order to give great service. So glad I found this little spot. Was very worried that Taki would be my only option in this Powder Springs/Hiram/Dallas area(no shade).

First time here in Georgia and I’m in love with this little Japanese sushi restaurant. The fish here is very fresh and the rolls are great. People who work there are very friendly. Will come back.

Some of the best sushi at any price anywhere! I travel a lot for work and have had lots of upscale sushi experiences that were so underwhelming when compared to Fuji! Hiram is fortunate to have this outstanding restaurant. If they moved to Buckhead and charged 3x the price I would still go!

First time having lunch here, I noticed that there lunch menu is pretty minimum to order from. Nothing in there menu has combination items everything is a la cart. I ordered the red curry chicken which was very good flavor but with only few pieces of chicken. Mostly vegetables. Plain fried rice and sweet tea at a total of 14.00, for lunch.

I really wanted to like this places after reading the reviews. I ordered a salad and two special rolls but when I opened my chopsticks they smelled awful(weird I know) and I asked for more same problem. I barely ate my food which was subpar. Maybe they were having an off day but I won’t be back.

I am a Sushi nut. I love Sushi and have eaten it all around the world while in the military, even in Japan. I can’t believe I’m saying this but one of the best Sushi restaurants I’ve ever eaten at is in this little hayseed(sorry if I offend) town of Hiram, Georgia! Fuji Sushi has a very large selection of sushi. Everything I’ve tried there is excellent. They give you a free appetizer of edemame which is delish, their soups and salads are great also. I usually get the chicken broth and the regular salad with ginger dressing. I’ve tried probably 8 – 10 different types of sushi rolls and they are all very well prepared and delicious.

Definitely the best in Hiram! Very friendly and prompt! I recommend this place over the sushi/hibachi restaurants in the area!

Very average. Would have loved a new sushi joint to frequent. Food was good. A menu of rolls that all seemed to have the same ingredients. No sake was deal breaker. Won’t be back.

I love sushi, and can even count or remember all the places I have tried around the country. This place is really great! The menu is very large, and gives you the option between Ngiri and Sashimi(which most places don’t truly offer). There are a few«generic» rolls with tempura and smoked items, but there are plenty of other standouts. I can’t wait to go back for some spicy yellow tail. Tonight we had the Mt. Fuji roll, which was just the right warm temp with the right amount of crunch. The other roll had black pepper tuna and fresh salmon on top. Everything was proportioned and rolled very well, and so fresh. The tuna was a new try for me, and could have been steak tartar :) They gave us a free sample of pumpkin tempera. The only downside is miso soup is extra and they have no sake options :(

Ya know, I really, truly wanted to LOVE this place. I need a new sushi spot and thought this could have been it but something is missing. There’s just nothing extraordinary about any of the menu items. The service is wonderful, nice and attentive. The rolls are good sizes and fairly fresh but it’s just not AMAZING or even close to wonderful. I wish it was. They also don’t serve alcohol which is a bummer… Guess my quest for delicious sushi continues.
