Great Selection in a very clean well merchandised store. Most importantly the Guy who is always working there is friendly & funny. He gives great suggestions if your not sure what to buy and is overall very helpful! They have a selection of Cigars as well.

If you are riding the Silver Comet Trail out of the Hiram/278 area trailheads and need beer to take home this is the place. Great selection of beers.

This is my neighborhood liquor store — my go-to for margaritas and beers! They are always well stocked and have some exceptional craft beer choices. Everyone is so nice, helpful and friendly — you’re sure to find what you need and then some.

Highland is a bright spot in the otherwise dull and depressing beer seen in merry old Hiram. Jim has done a great job of stocking some great small batch whisky’s and some awesome craft beers. The store is always clean, well lit, and very well stocked. Sometimes they get some awesome rarities and when they don’t have it they can usually get it. I’ve scored some major wins here for rare craft beers since most folks in hiram tend to stick to their shitty macro lagers or pissy light beers. Jim(Tha Bawwws) is always super friendly and has called his distributor for me when i was looking something as i was standing there asking him about something. Now thats what i call customer service. Even though they’re a little out of the main drag in Hiram its really worth the extra few minutes.

On a drive today way out far away I decided to scan package stores nearby and browse them. One of the top hits was Highland Beverage, which I had read about recently on a beer mapping site. It’s in a semi new strip center of businesses, tons of parking, easy to spot from both roads it intersects. Inside it’s very big, new, clean, extremely nice. I went straight back towards the beer and was pleasantly surprised to see a host of craft beers on a good sized shelf, bombers and cork/cages of various American, German, and Belgian varieties. Not what I expected. The coolers were also well stocked with a nice amount of quality beers, very refreshing to see so far away from Atlanta. Prices were typical of a smaller store, some high, some low, but all within reasonable figures. One star gets taken for the distance, not like I ever get this far out on a regular basis but if I do, I’ll stop by here again.
