I love this place! Not only is it family oriented, but the food is amazing. I always get the chicken hibachi and the prices are very reasonable. I enjoy the atmosphere as well. It gets packed out on weekends! Their yum yum sauce is ammmmazzzzinnngg. :)

Today we had a reservation at 6:00 for our party of 11. We showed up for this early reservation at 5:51 and were told it would be a hour wait. Seriously? Then thy offered a private room without«the show» so we checked it out and thought that was a good compromise. They went to get the tables ready and came back to say oh wait just kidding we have a wedding party coming and they need that room for their gifts and supplies as storage. Again, seriously? Terrible. We left to go to Happy Sumo nearby– Lo and behold, no problems there!

My wife and I have eaten here on multiple occasions on the hibachi side. The staff are always nice and polite. The waiting is never to long, even on a busy night. The food is always delicious, with portions big enough to feed a grown man. The hibachi chefs are always polite and interactive with the kids.

Horrible food! Shrimp is either pre-cooked And re-heated or frozen, it was hard and Dry. Sushi was dry and flavorless. Sauces are horrible too sweet. All rice Is not fresh and is dry. Why don’t the Owners care about the product quality? I will not eat here again.

The food was great but the service was below average. It was my first visit and my last. It may have been a bad night but I had to find my waitress so I only saw her 3 times… when our order was taken, when the water was delivered, and when she dropped off the check. To get anything else, I had to ask the waitress that was delivering someone else’s food to our table.

I haven’t tried the hibachi, but was very disappointed in the sushi. It was bland. Also, the service was mediocre at best.

I wanted to like this place, I really did. I often get a jonesing for sushi but my husband and I don’t feel like driving far to get it. Taki Japanese steakhouse has 4 stars on here so it sounded like it’d be worth a shot. The hostess greeted us upon arrival and was donning a silk floral robe. Not really kimono looking, just a robe silk robe which we both found odd. Our waitress was very nice and quick to come by the table. We ended up getting the gyoza, lobster king crab roll, Angel roll, and some yellowtail and salmon nigiri. We also ordered steak and chicken hibachi. Everything was so underwhelming, except the dried rice. The nigiri had no flavor. I couldn’t even differentiate between the two fish. The rolls fell flat too. It almost seems the the rolls were over complicated and it ended up missing out on the delicious simplistic flavor of the base ingredients themselves. We both love ginger but the ginger used at the restaurant is lower quality and seemed to be dried out and served to just be a pretty garnish rather than a palate cleanser. I left full but disappointed. I wish I could find a great Japanese restaurant nearby.

Went for brunch on yesterday. I had the steak and shrimp hibachi. The steak was not tender. The Shrimp was rubbery. the rice is pretty good and they did not clean the grill well after preparing ower meal.

I’ll give them an A+ for customer service! We were constantly greeted by the hostess, waitstaff and manager throughout our visit. Waiter was knowledgeable about the menu. Went on a Friday evening with no wait for seating. The ambiance was nice with chill mood lighting and modern décor. Service was quick. I had a sushi roll that will remain nameless with a side of fried rice… it was pretty ok. It’s almost scary when you receive good service these days… so no complaints Lol

My husband and I frequent Taki and have always had great food! I love the sushi, especially the spicy tuna and angel rolls. Fresh hibachi and fried rice are always good too. The hostess, servers, chefs & manager always greet us with a smile and take care of us from start to finish. Whether it’s just the two of us or a party — we’ve never been disappointed!

This place was gross… Their California roll and Spicy Tuna roll was very bland. The soup was gross and tasted like it was made with powder. The«white sauce/yum yum» sauce tasted like a citrus sauce and was orange… It did not taste like yum yum sauce like other places. It was disappointing! The fried rice was the worst… It tasted like it was cooked in dirty dish water. It had an awful taste to it! I will never eat here again!!! It was over priced and the food was gross(bad taste and quality).

Very nice Japanese steakhouse. It is always clean and the staff is always pleasant. My coworker and I, visit this location a lot when celebrating birthdays. The food is good, nothing that really jumps off the menu. But they are now paired up with a deliver service. So, in you are in the area and in need of a fix, but short on time you can have a delivery!

I ate here while visiting from California. The interior was nice and I bought two tee-shirts, which are really nice! The food however was not that great, I guess because Cali has the best. They did not have a Lion King roll and that was disappointing. The waitress was slow as hell and seemed to have forgotten that we were there. Next time I visit the area, I will stop in for a tee-shirt but skip the food and bad service.

Dollar sushi deals on Sunday and Thursday are meant to clean out the weekend fish and the weekday fish on their respective days. This is just a universal truth. We went to Taki after Tequila, the restaurant next door, was just too loud. We’re seated quickly and the food came fast. There’s what gets two stars. They succeeded at not failing the basic fooding process. When we ordered, I told the waitress that we may be ordering more because I wanted to give the sushi a test round. First, they brought the sushi at the same time as the veggie tempura I asked for specifying it as an «appetizer». Okay, cool, I can live with that. Prior to ordering, which looking at the menu only took us five or six minutes, the waitress came to see if we were ready three times. It’s a busy night, I get it. What just enraged me was that some server came by and dropped off a check without anyone even checking on us between then and receiving our food. I was planning on ordering double what we had gotten the first time, but because we were a couple taking up a four-top they wanted us out quick. I made an active decision that we were done. We just had a $ 20 appetizer and we’d go elsewhere. The waitress came to take the check and we let her know we weren’t happy with being shooed out. Not going back. There are other sushi places.

I’ve been to this place several times. It’s awesome. They have the best sushi around Hiram, Marietta, and Powder Springs. I always get the hibachi salmon. It’s so good. The best thing here is the signature seafood sauce. Their fried rice is so delicious. Definitely worth the price.

As much as I like Japanese food I was shocked I have never had this place! I did not physically go there, so I cannot tell you about the atmosphere, but the food was very deserving of a four star review. Price seems fairly well, the only draw back I could find was the amount of food, I guess with it being Japanese food(primarily fish) it takes a lot to fill me up.

I’ve never actually had a good experience at Taki. Their sushi was falling apart and didn’t taste fresh the last two times I went. Everything else is pretty mediocre but it kind of sucks we don’t have an amazing hibachi/Asian restaurant besides Thai Mango in Hiram. There’s Fuji but a lot of my friends don’t eat sushi so a place with a lot of options like this would’ve been nice.

Had a high school game to attend in the area and I used Unilocal to find a place for a pregame meal. The reviews looked good so six of us went there. The reviews were RIGHT. I had filet and chicken from the hibachi grill and it was terrific! Soup, salad, grilled veggies were all excellent too. The rest of our group was also thrilled with the quality of the food. The service was also very good. Our server is a Roswell High grad like me and did a great job. Not sure if I’ll be back in that area again anytime soon but, if I am, I will go back to Taki for sure. I’ve always loved hibachi grilled food and this place was better than either of the two which are in my area, Ichiban and Benihana. And Taki is much more reasonable than either of them in pricing also! Unilocal comes through again.
