Horrible service. Says open at 10 on website but at 10:15 people inside with lights on but door locked. No one would even acknowledge us. Dont bother. They do not want you.

I absolutely adore this bakery! It is a lifesaver for someone like me that has a gluten intolerance. In addition the people who run it are the sweetest people ever. I just adore everything about it. I totally recommend the peanut butter cup cupcakes and the Mexican hot chocolate cupcakes.

I had no idea about Couture Cakes/A Bountiful Harvest beforehand, but I never really frequented the Riverview area when I lived in Chattanooga. I was in town visiting my mom and we drove by the new location, and I couldn’t get it out of my head. We turned around and went back. When they moved, they added cupcakes available without a special order, which has to be the best idea they ever had. Apparently they have been super popular lately(and I just found that last week they were in the newspaper, so that probably added more popularity). They have over A HUNDRED different cupcakes. Every single one is gluten free and almost entirely organic, and they don’t even use refined sugar — from what I could find on their site most use evaporated cane juice. I didn’t fully comprehend that everything they made was gluten free until later, after first I was like wow, NYC cupcake prices. The more interesting cupcakes will cost you $ 3.50, but they are entirely worth it. Plus you could even go twice in one day and see different cupcakes. I had a Caramel Dream cupcake: it is a Belgian chocolate cupcake with caramel inside, plus caramel frosting, with caramel drizzled on top. It was amazing. The entire thing was not an overload of sweetness, which I loved. The frosting was unlike any cupcake I’ve ever had. It was just sweet enough, and super creamy. The caramel was average, and the chocolate cupcake was pretty good, although I prefer a moist, lighter cake. My mom had a strawberry white chocolate cheesecake cupcake, which had strawberry filling inside, and we picked out a white chocolate peanut butter cup one for my dad. There were no complaints from anyone, just an overall approval of the lack of super sweetness. They sell all sorts of other products inside, which are not necessarily gluten free. Everything they make is though: cookies(which also come in sugar-free and dairy-free varieties), chocolates(also available in sugar-free) and they do custom cakes. Parking can be a bit tough, and their sign isn’t very easy to spot, which is why we had to drive back.
