Life Care Center of Hixson

I would have to agree with the previous reviewer. This is our second go around here and it is a farce! I begged the hospital for a different option for my loved one, but this is the one the insurance would cover. Insurance companies should be ashamed of themselves. We have secret shoppers for retail and food industries why not for the care of our elderly. Dateline would have a field day with this place. I would have given zero stars, but I have encountered one nice nurse. Pretty sad, and I have been to the very top and that was the real joke!

I have to edit my review now that we have been there for almost three weeks. This is one of the most uncaring group of health care people I’ve ever been around. If you are at a hospital and you run into a bad nurse or doctor, you can complain and it will be addressed. Because they care.
At Life Care, there is no one to complain to because no one cares. They look at you with contempt if you dare complain about anything. From the director to the head of nursing to the nurses, this place is terrible. The physical therapy team is a little better. But do not send your loved ones here for rehab.
Don’t let the beauty of the facility fool you. In the three weeks we were there, we did not encounter one person there who we thought highly of (outside of therapists). Life Care makes a killing by giving shotty service.
