Weed Man

At 5:30pm today, I open my front door and am surprised to find a note that is apparently a bill for a weed treatment. According to the notice, signed by a «Dustin», a weed treatment was completed at my property at 8:13am this morning. The only issue I have with this notice is that (1) I never contracted this company to perform this service at my home today, and (2) I was home at 8:13am this morning, and nobody knocked on my door, or rang my doorbell, or anything. I recognized the company’s name because I had a brief conversation with their office about having somebody come out to perform treatments starting NEXT week, AFTER I have landscaping done on my property this weekend (which was indeed performed by a REPUTABLE company this evening, with my full foreknowledge, and me being present). To top this off, the «bill» lists the name of the FORMER owner of this home, with a badly misspelled attempt to include my name as well. I left a phone message at Weed Man’s office number to inquire as to what this notice refers. I certainly hope they clear up as to why they showed up unannounced at my home. If not, I will certainly be alerting the state Attorney General’s Office about this business practice, and will in no way be paying them the amount they charged on this unauthorized «bill».

My experience with this company has been very good. I explained to them that I have used other services before, but still had weeds and my lawn wasn’t as green as some of my neighbors. I was somewhat reluctant to try another company, but I did.
The products they use did the job so well, that I trusted them to seed my lawn also.
Well, the end result is that may lawn now looks as good or better than the nicest lawns on my street!

I am only giving two stars, since I do have grass now. They have poor customer service, though. Teresa says she will send bills/​correct invoices, but she fails to do it. Her boss makes excuses for her incompetence. Don’t use them unless you want your yard seeded in the dark, incorrect/​overcharged invoices and guys showing up willy-​nilly to do services you were not notified of.
