I really enjoy my experience here. I have experienced all the guys there. One of the Best cut for the price around.

Hack Job — I have heard great word of mouth reviews about this place for years. Decided to check it out. I am always hesitant to try out a new barber. This experience will keep me from going astray from my regular go-to barber(Premium Barber Shop on 52nd and 2nd in Manhattan). The guy spent more time talking about the Steelers than focusing on my hair. When I got home I saw that my bangs were uneven and there were stray hairs sticking out of the sides which should have been sheared short and even as instructed. The razor he used on the back of my neck left scratches and irritated me just as much as the fact that I wasted $ 20 on a lousy hair cut. The guy was nice and all but I will not be going back unless I want a scouting report on Pittsburgh’s chances to make the playoffs.(I am a Giants fan, by the way). Premium Barber Shop in Manhattan charges $ 17, so you get more for paying less.

I have been going there over 20 years, and while I am a big fan of Dominic, all the guys do a great job. I try to go during the week, so I can make an appointment for Dominic. I agree with the other reviewer that the knowledge of Italian may even add another dimension to a great social experience. Where is Rosetta Stone when I need it.

Nick at D&P has cut my hair for 25+ years. Always a great job by a real pro. It’s always a pleasure to visit the shop and chat with the guys. Very professional and real gentlemen. Highly recommended without reservation.

Quick– how many small companies can you name that have been in business for 40 years? Domenic & Pietros is a Ho-Ho-Kus institution, celebrated 40 years of shearing styles in 2010. The original namesake partners decided to try something new — offer hair care services for both men and women in 1970. This changed when Pietro passed away in 1990, and now Domenic, Nick, Joe and the others’ cliental are primarily men. Come in, grab a chair a wait on a typical Saturday, and you’ll be immersed in Mayberry. The talk jumps from sports to business to wine to local news. If you know Italian you’ll be privey to some interestig conversations! You can expect a great haircut — including straight razor and shave cream — from any of the skilled men manning the chairs.
