Window Genie of Northeast NJ

If you want a reliable company, DO NOT CHOOSE Window Genie of Northeast NJ. I scheduled my windows to be cleaned in my townhouse over a week in advance. I work a lot, so meshing their availability with mine was tricky. We finally came up with an amicable date. When that day came, I received no phone call, but instead had to call them to find out what happened. Apparently, they have corporate clients (car dealerships) which take precedence over their residential customers. I was fed some excuse that a machine broke and they couldn’t make it. Stuff happens, I get it, so I rescheduled to today.
This time, «Gill» reached out to me 5 minutes before my scheduled appointment to advise me that, again, they wouldn’t be able to make the appointment. I had left work early today, sacrificing more of my time, all in vain. There is simply no excuse for this lack of service. Needless to say, I’ve opted to use another company to clean my windows. I urge anyone considering Window Genie to seek an alternative company or risk wasting your time. Ironically, there are other posts here which tell a similar story of mine… no shows and lack of phone calls. Grade of F for these guys… who not only didn’t clean my windows, but didn’t even make it to my home to SEE my windows!

Not sure if the branch I used was HoHoKus or not but second time I’ve used these guys and they do a terrific job. Our house is not an easy house to service windows and has always been hard to find guys who will do all windows PLUS our skylights.
These guys come on time, are super neat and very competent. I plan to use them again in 6 months or so.

This company was not professional in many ways. Rather than carefully clean our gutters, they doused them and got water into our living (all over the furniture, floor and rug).
Also, they didn’t show up for the original appointment, nor did they call me to notify me of the change. I had to contact them.
