Bee Liquors

Exceptional liquor store tucked away by McDonald’s and Marathon on the corner of 51 and Ridge in Hobart. Fair prices, excellent selection of spirits and craft beer (and respectable wine offerings, though I can’t speak overmuch to that). Knowledgable, attentive, pleasant staff — you will not go wrong asking for a recommendation. My wife and I joke that while it is only blocks away, we WOULD drive miles for the selection, staff, and prices. Region’s Best without a doubt!

If you’re a beer geek, this is your spot! Always an excellent selection of bombers and craft beers. Better than any other liquor store that I’ve been to in the area and I make a point to see what EVERYBODY has. I love Bee’s for beer.

Stopped in on Saturday to discover a really nice Craft Beer selection. Prices were fair and the guy behind the counter was friendly to us.
I’ll be back to pick out some beers for my beer of the month tasting.

I only popped in for a six pack but this place seems like it has a really decent selection, the cashier was really friendly. I could see shipping here regularly. More in depth review to come ;)

Best liquor selection in the Region and probably the most accommodating owners. This family-​owned store is committed to stocking the place with anything you might need to mix the perfect cocktail. Case in point, I was really into Moscow Mules a few years back but the Bee didn’t carry ginger beer. I simply asked if he had any in stock (didn’t request that he order it especially for my drinking needs), and when I came in again a month later, he gave me an update on the ginger beer. I had no idea he would remember me or my request, but he told me he looked all over NWI with no avail. I’ve since been able to find ginger beer at other locations, but this guy’s attempt to fulfill my needs has stuck with me. My husband has asked for unique craft beers, and the owner almost guarantees it will be in stock next time.
