I give it one star and that’s only because I have to! I find everything I need pretty easily. There were employees constantly stocking shelves. But my issue comes with checkout! I wait in the only line that open with a line of people behind me and several in front of me. When I get to the register with my 4 items, the printer acts up. They immediately open another register… which is great for the other 5 people behind me. Then they take another person’s items (that was waiting behind me the whole time with a cart full) to a different register and start ringing them out. WHAT ABOUT ME? HELLO? I was first out of these people and you just dismiss me. No apologies, no consideration, nothing!!! Time for some more training in customer service. No wonder they have a sign saying now hiring! This place is a joke!!!

First of all, I’m not sure who they greased to get that parking lot zoned, but it is a hazard. The parking area is so small vehicles are fighting just to get in and out. Unsupervised children have been seen playing in the parking lot in which they’re just asking for an accident.
The store itself is nice, clean, and set up conveniently. Truthfully I’m happy to have a cheapo store amongst the overpriced stores in Valpo.

The manager for this establishment named Laura need education on customer service big time. My boys were just checking out a slinky toy and she told them that they can not play with it. They are nor being rowdy or throwing it or doing anything extreme with it and I was right there with them. I took my business someplace else after that. It was so bad because some of the other people are actually nice with the kids. She probably does not like kids. I wonder how she became a manager…
