The restaurant was dirty from all of the tables that were not bussed. The menu is very large and typical of a corner restaurant. The service is very slow and server forgot my sons fruit plate. The food came out after 30 minutes. My sons hamburger was cooked till it was dried out. My wife got the French toast that was topped a gelatinous cheap strawberry pie filling. I got the Grecian chicken with Greek spaghetti. The chicken was burnt on the outside and dried out. The sauce was salty and the garlic was also burnt. The Greek spaghetti was pretty good. Olive oil, garlic, oregano with pasta. We will not be returning. I advise that you don’t go!

The service was fast, friendly and«right on». The food was perfect and plentiful. Definitely going to return. The menu has plenty of items to choose from.

Reading some of the less than stellar reviews I had to ask myself why? The place is clean and the service is spot on. Waitresses are awesome and it’s a nice place. The I read the menu wasn’t vegetarian friendly. It had a few options but besides lettuce what did you expect? The menu is huge and to the reviewer who deemed it middle of the road mediocrity? Wow. They serve SAGANAKI here!!! That is not mediocre. Lemon rice soup is awesome so are the fish meals. Only letdown were the off site baked cakes. Have your own baker!!! Will be back.

It took us forever to try this place out once we moved to the area. And once we did we were very unimpressed. It’s just an oversized diner with too many options on the menu for anything to have the opportunity to be really good. At best, I would call it «serviceable». We have only been there once. The service was mediocre, and the food was«meh.» Their idea of a salad is kind of laughable. I will probably try it again, if I really just need to get out of the house for a bowl of soup or something. My husband will not go back. The one bonus is that they do deliver, which would be awesome, if I actually wanted to eat there. And the online menu is just ridiculous.

This is a decent spot. Very mediocre food, but good environment. Soup is always decent and the gyros are good. It’s a good time to hang out with a big party if you’re going out to eat with a large party they have a large variety of food that is sure to accommodate everyone.

Well what can I say? DONTEATHERE! The salt shakers are dirty, the condiments are dirty. My food was decent and I think I would have rather had a McDonald’s big breakfast vs a skillet for $ 7.95! Service was poor was never asked how my food was. Waitress came and talked to us after we complained and now she wants to be nice! Smh WTF Move on — just drive on by go somewhere else!

Service and food are mediocre. Décor is horrific. Wait staff is friendly but front desk staff are very unfriendly. We try to avoid this place but sometimes it’s the only option given opening hrs.

I have left some long reviews but this one really doesn’t need to be. The menu– The menu is a little busy which you may or may not like. Personally I like a simple menu but thats just me. They have all the classics you love to see at family restaurants which is always nice, plus some things you may like to try. Waitresses– The wait staff is nice, polite and professional. Of all the times I’ve been there the only complaint I would have is that I’m picky about my coffee and some waitresses will top you off without asking if you want a top off lol which actually is a good thing if you like your mug full at all times. Food quality– If you asked I would reply with a simple«yeah that place is pretty good». Is it rooftop Chicago $ 140 plate good? No. Is it reliably high quality? Yes. It’s never cold.(unless you ordered something cold) It’s always fresh and it’s always cooked how you asked. What more could you ask for? Price– It’s affordable. At no point do you ever feel like you paid too much for what you ordered. All around great place!

Food is ok. Not the best, but good. Service is always good. We come here often after I race at Steel Wheels BMX. Typically I get a salad and they are good. We’ve had the chocolate cake before and that was REALLY good! This is a good place to come with friends and visit. Food always comes out fast too

The Paragon is about what you would expect from a small Midwestern town diner. There’s plenty of room and parking. Service is achingly slow, no doubt a function of limited wait staff being assigned too many tables to keep track of. The food is edible and forgettable. Portions are generous. The prices are cheap. The selection is limited– I had to spend some time with the menu trying to find something a vegetarian could eat. Trucker sludge threatens to erode the cup it’s presented to you in. There are no obvious health code violations or objectionable policies. Mediocrity is often the goal out here in the middle of nowhere. Middle of the road people seek the familiar rather than the excellent, and the unusual just doesn’t sell here. The Paragon is quite naturally a gathering place for those who’ve spent their whole lives just trying to fit in. Higher expectations are deemed arrogance, the ultimate sin in places such as this.

Ate here a few nights ago. We stood there in an empty restaurant waiting to be seated for several minutes. Once seated the service was great. The menu was great and had just about anything a person could want. The place didn’t seam to be the cleanest. I ordered the breaded mushrooms to start and the king size prime rib cooked medium with chicken noodle soup and fries with a side of garlic bread. The stuffed mushrooms were okay, nothing special. The soup was very tasty. The prime rib however came out just about as rare as it can get(it was not pink in the middle, but purple) and so I sent it back. When it came out, it was then overlooked as expected. It had a delicious flavor though. The garlic bread was as expected, almost too crispy. Ultimately, my dog ended up getting the remainder of the steak and fries. I’ve definitely had better food and is nothing special that I would recommend to anyone. More of a place you go to when you aren’t in the mood for anything in particular or can’t decide what to eat.

I’ve gone here a couple times with my guy. The place is in need of some updates… including flooring, seating areas, and restrooms. But the food tasted okay. I especially enjoyed the lemon rice soup, which I ordered both times I visited. The broiled lemon pepper catfish I had was good though I wished they gave me a bigger portion. My guy likes their Monte Cristo sandwich. He makes a special request to get strawberry jelly to go with it. The servers were nice as well. I’m sure I’ll be back.

I’ve heard the kitchen is filthy so I try and avoid this establishment. The gyros pizza is pretty dang good though. The lemon rice soup is VERY good

One of the worst meals I have had in my life. I am generally sympathetic when I travel and temper my expectations, but three of us had a dinner here that still makes me sick to think about. The folks working there seemed nice enough, but man… come on… prisoners get fed better than this. The waitress came by before we were finished and asked for us to pay the bill so she could leave with her tip. Denny’s is gourmet in comparison…

Paragon is mediocre, it’s never really bad I had the gyros parmesam tonight and it delicious, the noodles not so much, they are pre cooked and wet but the gyro meat was good. The breakfast items are always a safe bet if you’re unsure.

Food has gotten so much better then before. Now that its no smoking anywhere in the restaurant is a god send. I highly recommend any sandwich on a pretzel roll yum.
