Awesome beach. Go at high tide on a windy day. Recommend water shoes if you want to walk on the rocks as they can be sharp and slick. Lots of wild life around and in the water. One of my favorite spots in FL

This place is beautiful. Great pictures and you don’t feel like you are in Florida anymore. We did a quick stop here on the way down to Miami. We did see some people snorkeling, so I definitely want to take a day trip back here to swim. You need to plan your trip based on the tides, whether you want to swim(low tide) or see the blowing rocks(high tide). Apparently, if there is a storm the blowing rocks can reach up to 50 ft. If you plan to climb around on the rocks, which I couldn’t resist, make sure you wear shoes that can handle it. Bring some cash, the entrance fee is a $ 2 donation. Read more about it on my blog.

Protected by the nature conservancy this coastline is very unique located on jupiter island. A really cool spot to see during high tide. The tide crashes up to the rocky shore line and«blows» through the rock formations giving the area the name blowing rock. Parking here is free but the lot closes early 430pm and high tide was around 4pm so it didn’t give us much wiggle room to hang out. If within biking distance I would recommend that depending on the time for high tide of that day. They have an entrance fee of 2/person but since we came so close to closing the attendant manning the entrance gave us a pass on paying. It seemed like a cool spot to Snorkel in, and we even saw a sea turtle swimming around. Hoping next visit to jupiter I can spend a bit more time at this unique and natural beach.

Best beach trip I’ve had in Florida! Go during high tide or a storm to see crashing waves. Or go when it’s calmer and jump through the caverns and snorkel around. You’ll find lobsters and all sorts of cool creatures. This place almost felt like an exotic island. Also, there are bathrooms.

Quite beautiful! This is a small preserve with some beautiful rock formations and some clear spots to swim as well. I actually have never seen water this clear on the Atlantic. Absolutely breathtaking! There is great shelling as well. Check the tides depending on what you want to do. I want to be able to go under the rocks and see what they looked like so I picked low tide. If you want to see the splashing of water pick the high tide times. The parking lot closes at 4:30 so we wouldn’t have been able to see the splashing anyway. Beautiful path to the beach too! A must do beach spot!

Early morning group hike from Coral Cove to Blowing Rocks – No crowds and plenty of parking. Will return for a longer stay when the visitor center is open.

Please don’t miss this wonderful preserve, but speak softly as the neighbors pay for the best copper protection in the state.

Make sure you go when the tide is in, otherwise, there isn’t much to see. The beach is not crowded. There is parking on the West side of A1A for free. They also have a bike rack on the East side of A1A. There is a visitor center with restrooms on the west side of AIA. The east side has a manned station to direct you down the path towards the beach. You can make a donation if you want to. The visitor center has educational displays about the area.

So I wont lie to you we had an amazing time there my kids loved it, it was beautiful the people were nice it was a great family day until… One of the park workers or the manager’s friend made racist remarks towards my family and when we tried to tell her we had kids(a 3 year old and an infant) with us so please just leave us alone she said she didn’t care and told us to go back to where we came from and she would make sure the manager never allowed people like us back there. So I am not sure if she was a worker but apparently she was friends with the manager, so as beautiful as this park is I wont be subjecting my children to this behavior again. So at the end of the day I guess they win and«us people» will not be returning but I just felt it was important to share my story or at least express my disappointment and great sadness.

This place is beyond beautiful! This a great spot for any type of photography! What surprised me most about this area was the how great the beach was. The beach has soft sand and plenty of it for your to sit down and relax. These blowing rocks are off to one area but the rest of the area is a beautiful beach that is completely swim-able. There is a small boardwalk leading to the beach with interesting information about the kind of flora and fauna you might expect to see. We saw a dead hawksbill sea turtle baby which couldn’t have been more days old. There was a sea turtle nest as well. Online it says it’s open from 9 – 4 but this place is really open all the time. You might have to park on the side of the road if you come during other hours but there is plenty of space to do so.

This place isn’t as exciting as it sounds. There are the same kind of rocks between Jupiter Beach and Carlin Beach Park. It is just small rocks that sometimes catch the waves making a spurt. But I’ve never seen it really doing it’s thing so maybe it is amazing during a storm. The beach here is kind of plain, so I wouldn’t bother to come unless there’s a big storm and you want to see if it’s become«blowing rocks.» Here are some photos:

Blowing Rocks Nature Preserve is a must see if you are in the area! Beautiful rocks along the beach. At high tide you will see huge sprays along the rocks. Quite a site!
