Many call it a hidden gem of Hoboken, tucked away from the Washington Street scene on 6th between Grand and Adams. Once you discover this store, you will gladly add it to your shopping route! There is an array of jewelry for many budgets including very unique, high-end pieces. The bag collections also satisfy a variety of tastes with lots of on-trend choices as well as classics for the commuting professional. Beyond the merchandise the service is great with the owner and staff always making you feel at home. Love it here!

I passed the store on my way home and figured let me see what they have. I needed a necklace and earrings for a wedding and was able to find them both here. There a lot of very nice pieces of jewelry on display and the owner was very helpful.

Love this store! I’ve been shopping at Aaraa since it was on Washington Street. Now that it’s conveniently two blocks from my house I love it even more! Very reasonably priced, a ton of amazing items to choose from and top notch customer service. Neeta is the true gem as she makes you feel like you are in her home! From the jewelry and the Budhas to the purses, I always get compliments on whatever I purchase from Aaraa!

Whenever I am in need of a gift or jewelry for a particular outfit, I head up the street to aaRaa. This place has something for everyone and the prices are very reasonable. I walked in last week for Christmas gifts and left with five people checked off my list! Shop small and support local businesses!

Love Aaraa! I bought a beautiful ring that I wore on my wedding day there. They have reasonably priced, beautiful jewelry and I always have a problem narrowing down what to purchase every time I go to that store. Great for gifts too.

Walked-in & immediately knew I would find something for my: «foxy, eclectic, home-body’ girlfriend. The gal working(owner) was exceptionally helpful and took the time to understand our relationship before offering options. Very pleased with what I ended up buying for her… … gave it to her this morning and she LOVED it! I will go back.

The owner is so nice! I went in here with my fiancé to search for some fun costume jewelry with her. I was pleasantly surprised to find wonderful aromas, amazing artwork and even an antique shop attached! They import Jewelry and other items from India, all of which is very very nice.

I stopped in here after seeing a few cute things in the store front, but was fooled. Once inside, the jewelry and clothes looked rather cheap. Might be a good place for drapes/home fabrics, but the clothes and jewelry are not for me.

I gave this place stellar reviews and have been a customer for years, but almost all the pieces I have bought here have broke or needed to be repaired. Every ring I have gotten here has fallen apart beyond repair or has come apart. As I mentioned in my first review, they are happy to fix the items or give a store credit, but some are not fixable and it’s a hassle to have to bring back everything you buy to get repaired even if it is pretty. So disappointed!

Loved the store. Aaraa has a great collection of jewelry. They carry beautiful bracelets, bangles, dangling earrings. Beautiful Indian accessories for home too !! They have stuff that you can wear for casual hangouts or special occasions . I bought bracelets and earrings and I so loved them! I don’t live in Hoboken but I am definitely going to purchase through their online store! Worth the price. They have an Exclusive collection! Anyone visiting Hoboken should visit this store. Overall I had a very pleasant experience at aaraa. People who work there are also very sweet and helpful!

this is my absolute FAVORITE store, not only in hoboken, but ever! i have decorated my room and apartment with so many things that i have purchased from this store. the people who work here are SO friendly; they even let my dog shop with me in the store! they have also held items for me for up to 3 wks. everything is so beautiful and so affordable. there is definitely no place like it. if you’re lucky enough to live close to this gem, visit frequently — they are always getting new items in. and for those of you that are only visiting hoboken, definitely make this one of your stops! you will not be dissapointed!

It’s hard to find imports directly from India in NY let alone this gem! Neeta knows her homeland well and as a result is able to bring treasures to NY that you would only find if you took a trip to India with a local who is obsessed with textiles and handcrafts. Neeta’s been helping the people she knows in these small villages make an income looong before Fairtrade landed on the tongue of the Starbucks crowd. I’ve been going to her store ever since I moved to the NY area. When I need a gift, am refurnishing an apartment or simply need a treat from another land, Aaraa is my «go to». And Neeta is absolutely lovely. Shop here whether you need new bedding, to complete your décor, new clothes, new jewelry, new shoes — Aaraa is bound to have something you’ll love. And at the same time support local small business owners, beautiful traditions from a land far away and the people who keep them alive. Oh yeah, and it’s CRAZY affordable!

So, I have never been pissed off enough to write a review on Unilocal, but here it is. I Love, love, love the jewelery at Aaraa and to date have spent around $ 500 dollars there and have brought my sister, 4 girlfriends and 3 of my sister’s friends there so that they could experience the awesomeness that is this store. Unfortunately, I can never go back because this woman that works there(the one with the butterfly tattoo on her wrist) is a seriously unpleasant bitch. Once I went there looking for a few yards of fabric for my apartment, and I wasn’t going to buy one that I didn’t unfold(obviously). I probably unfolded 3 or 4 and carefully folded them back, only for this broad to run over, roll her eyes and tell me not to bother because she would have to refold them all anyway. I spent 100 dollars there that day and figured that she was mad because she was pregnant(turns out that she was just a little fat). Anyway, the next time I went there I bought a shirt that was super beautiful but was unsure about how often I’d wear it. I asked about the return policy and one of the other employees told me that I could return it for a year for store credit. When I got it home, there was a spot on it, but I figured I had done it on accident. I tried to bring it back to the store, immediately pointing out the spot but telling the butterfly chick that I may have done it. She said«well, you must have because it sure wasn’t me. No one told u that you could return this for a year.» I then asked her about cleaning instructions and she acted like I was trying to tell her to clean it, rolled her eyes at me again and signalled for me to get the hell out. Right before I left, I heard her call over the other employee so that she could ream her out about making an accident regarding the return policy even though she had just basically told me that I was a liar. I wasn’t trying to dupe her and I have spent so much money there and brought so much business. Now I am too embarrassed to go back, even though I wish I could buy more of their beautiful stuff. Also, the other employees there have been super duper nice and helpful, except for this one pissed off broad. Pop in there, but make sure that the evil one is off that day.

This is a place that sells cool jewelry, accessories, bags, and household things like decorative pillows, some clothing, and incense. A very southeast Asian feel(mostly Indian) in the place. I examined the tags and a lot of the merchandise is from India. When I went, there were a lot of sales going on, like most jewelry was 15% off. There was even a small section where jewelry was 50% off. I couldn’t pass on this beautiful Y-necklace that had red gems in it for only $ 9! Plus, the lady at the counter is super nice and offers you suggestions to go with your purchases. Go ahead, drop in the place, and you can probably find something funky for you or for your home!

If you’re in Hoboken, you really need to check this place out. They have lots of cool jewelry and accessories, as well as some home décor items. And it’s relatively inexpensive which is a huge plus. Also, the woman who works there is super nice and helpful. Would go there more often if I lived closer.

Aaraa is a unique store offering funky, stylish jewelry and home décor with a Southeast Asian flair. Most prices are affordable as well. Their frequent store-wide sales are an added incentive to visit this interesting accessory shop.

Really awesome. I’d like to buy practically everything in this store. And I’m not exaggerating. To get an idea of some items they had: jewelery, blankets, decorative throws, shawls, insense, decorative pillows, and bags. All of these items were downright beautiful, even breathtaking. Worth a look if you’re into this style. But again, I’d love to buy everything here.
