Well, I liked this place. I would get the Believer or the Crave at least once a week and was always more than satisfied. I’m also willing to pay more for high-quality ingredients. They used to offer free Yoga classes on certain weekday mornings here, too. You will be missed, Buddha Press.

Couple of issues: 1. Organic or not organic? They say that they are all organic but none of their bottles or marketing materials state this. Tried their green juice and it was ok. Not as good as juice press or Organic Ave 2. They sometimes run out of juices. 3. Not surprisingly they closed.

They might have closed down already. They were closed Saturday at 10:30am with no signs.

Came in here for a quick hearty and healthy breakfast. I ordered the Buddha Bowl, which took a while to prepare but watching its assembly was quite amazing. The staff here clearly take pride in what they deliver and the Buddha Bowl was as delicious as it was beautiful.

I had the Buddha bowl, and being my first acai bowl, I found that it was pretty tasty. My only complaint is that the fruit that was used seemed to be frozen fruit and it was very sour. The staff was very friendly and helpful We ate inside and they came to ask us how everything was as well. Overall it was a good experience and good acai bowl.

This place is losing stars because of high prices, which I think is unfair. Price is a factor of location and product type, not dining experience. For a high-quality remarkably healthy nice and smoothie place in Hoboken, the price is acceptable. The store is well thought out and airy, and when I went in at 12pm on a Tuesday, no line or wait.(night shift for the win!) everything you get here is something you can feel good about eating, and there’s no regrets from organic raw food. Keep doing what you’re doing Buddha press, this is what all juice bars should be!

The açai bowls are everything a foodie like myself could hope for. Smoothies and pressed juices abound in flavor and variety. I personally grab from the prepackaged section. The chia chocolate mousse looked to die for! I had the dehydrated cinnamon apples, and I wish I could have had three more bags to take with me. The service is wonderful, but it is very, very expensive.

Omg! Finally a healthy spot not too far from the city and in NJ. I’m honestly in love with this place. From the second I walked in I knew I would love anything and everything from here. The location is super clean and smells so fresh! I’ve tried all of the bowls, and they are all delicious! The wraps are phenomenal. Honestly, everything is. What I love most is the customer service. Everyone is so delighted to see you and they work with such love & care. Keith, the owner, is a sweetheart and so attentive. You leave Buddha Press with a smile on your face. Guaranteed!

I really like this place — it’s the real deal. Healthy ingredients, unique and fresh combinations, delicious grab and go food you can feel good about. I always have something different when I’m here because they are doing things I haven’t seen before. The coconut milkshake was simply amazing — coconut water + coconut meat = love! But — how can you serve food and drinks and not have a bathroom for costumers? Would be a cool place to hang out but can’t stay too long. ..

Buddha Press is a much needed healthy food and drink option in a town filled with«fast» food establishments and bars. Everything is made fresh to order and you can definitely tell. I’ve been to other«healthy» establishments in Hoboken and have always left slightly disappointed by the taste. But the Buddha Press is delicious… I recommend the Buddha Bowl and Buddha Cake Smoothie. They also have small selection of refrigerated prepared food that look great and I look froward to trying!

Not even a huge Unilocaler but had to get this out there… So I’m on a bit of a health kick lately and woke up craving a smoothie or fresh juice. I remembered Buddah opening, checked the times, and was thrilled to see they were open at 830am. I walk in, place looks cool and hip and they have some peaceful music playing. I ask the counter gal — «Hey these smoothies all look great, what do you recommend?» Her reply, and in her defense she was a really nice gal«Unfortunately we cant make any smoothies right now because our milk from yesterday went sour.» Are you effing kidding me? Get your inventory in order and train your employees so refrain from using the word sour. She may have been reffering to cashew or almond milk, but it’s irrelevant. Talk about a terrible first impression. I grabbed two premade juices to go and hit the road. $ 9 a pop, but they are good, I will give them that. You had one chance to hook me, and you lost it. I will not be returning.

This place is by far one of the worst, over priced establishments I’ve ever been to(and I’ve lived in Hoboken for 5 years, so that says something). It took them nearly 15 minutes to make my acai smoothie bowl($ 14), which was missing both the spirulina & the brittle«because they ran out»(not kidding, and they only told me because I asked about the ingredients in the brittle, which the cashier also did not know). I came with my laptop because I saw they advertise free wifi, only to be told by the cashier that the wifi was broken AFTER I ordered. If you are looking for a healthful meal/smoothie, there are plenty of better places to go in Hoboken. Overall, I was obviously very disappointed as I was looking forward for months to the opening of a juice bar in town. I will stick to getting my juices in NYC after work. I will never, ever spend a dime here again and will be sure to tell all my friends the same.

I stopped in for a snack/breakfast one morning and enjoyed what I had. Décor: It’s a small(er) place with virtually no seating(I guess that most just grab-and-go) but a very cool vibe. The exposed brick walls and dim lighting almost relaxes you as you walk in. While you wait in line you almost can’t resist grabbing one of their delicious-looking juices from one of the coolers and the big paper roll menus complete the causal ascetic. I wish there was a bit more room for the line(waiting to order) and the line(waiting for their drinks/food) but it can’t be helped. Staff: The cashier was very friendly and the drink-maker-girl was pretty quick at her craft. Food: I had an Acai Bowl and it was very tasty and rather filling. Also, it was ICECOLD. Everything tasted fresh and it was pure acai berries(unlike Jamba Juice that just has them sprinkled in). There was also bananas and several other types of fruit that made it very enjoyable. Value: Prices, like most juice places, are a bit lofty but around where you’d expect them to be. While I won’t be stopping in regularly due to the high(er) prices, I will certainly keep this place in mind on a warm summer morning or afternoon — heck, even evening in lieu of ice cream!

I went to this place for the second time today and absolutely love it! Definitely on the pricier side, but worth the money if you try a smoothie or one of the bowls. They brew and keep Stumptown coffee(which is amazing itself), but the iced coffee is more expensive than if you bought the bottle somewhere else(which you have to lucky enough to even find somewhere like WholeFoods). I tried one of the packed juices on my first visit — the Zen Master. It was very good and filling, but again, too expensive to enjoy more than a few times a week. The real highlight though, was one of the«bowls» that the place recently added. I got the Buddah Bowl and it is really unlike anything I have even tasted! Super refreshing, cool, and packed with flavor for a nice humid day. It is almost like a smoothie based parfait with tons of healthy toppings like fresh fruit, goji berries, chia seeds, etc. It was definitely worth the $ 10 and I would come again just for this! Move aside Red Mango, there is a new summer trend in town! The staff was also super nice and informed me that they have plans to add more food options to the menu. Though they have only been open for a month, the place has already grown within the one week I’ve visited by adding various salads and wraps– so I can’t wait to see what this place has in store!

Being a new smoothie obsessive, I was extremely excited to hear that a new juice shop, Buddha Press, was opening in Hoboken. The store came to fruition rather quickly, and I tried to get there within its first two weeks. The restaurant was extremely dark and minimalistic, with a lot of wasted space. However, I guess they were able to foresee their long lines, which could then comfortably queue up in this space. There was also a small counter along the front window that could accommodate 3 – 4 patrons after they received their order. In addition to first-rate coffee, the restaurant served several fresh meals and snacks, as well as intriguing smoothies and juices. I studied the brief, yet intricate, list of creative smoothies, but eventually decided on the Buddha Cake, of which I had also read terrific reviews. The creamy beverage consisted of natural ingredients like carrot, Ceylon cinnamon, ginger, and almond milk. While I loved the bold, earthy flavor, I found the drink a bit too sweet and hard to finish. However, at a steep price of $ 9 plus tax, I was not letting a single sip go to waste. Since I had been intrigued by many of the other smoothie flavors, I would come to terms with the cost in order to try some of the other varieties.

Love this place. You feel healthier just walking in. Everything looks so fresh. There was a long line went I recently went in a Sunday afternoon, but that was for custom ordered. I just got a cold pressed pineapple concoction. Delish. Will frequent this establishment!

Buddha press – and then I saw her juice. Now I’m a believer. After a long day of work and no breakfast or lunch, I needed something to refuel myself. Why not have an excellent shot of wheat grass that is followed by a pineapple chaser? That is later followed by an unbelievable BELIEVER smoothie. Wow, it’s like my tastebuds died and went to heaven. Will definitely be back again.

Wow !!! Been to juice bars everywhere. Just to name a few, juice press, juice generation, liquiteria and Jugo fresh in Miami and up to this point Buddha press is by far my favorite. The live smoothies are to die for. The salads and food are as good as stuff that’s not good for you and the little dessert balls, especially the buddha brittle, I could live on. The breakfast bowls with Acai makes me feel like I’m on an island somewhere. I Read all the reviews about buddha press and the negative one from pat is probably another juice bar business as your prices are on par with any cold press juice bar I have been to. Thank You so much for coming to Hoboken, you are my breakfast /lunch go to place!!!

Buddha Press is a complete breathe of fresh air for Hoboken and its about time. This place is clean I’m talking immaculate clean. Staff & Owner are extremely friendly as well. The smoothies and cold pressed juices are healthy & great tasting. Don’t listen to these 1 and 2 star reviewers. I’ve been 4 times since the opening it’s going to be a go to spot for a healthy snack and/or drink. The Sacred Garden juice is awesome. My favorite smoothies are the Orange Nirvana & Cocoolada. Great new spot & Highly recommended — check it our for yourself. Its only a matter of time now before 5 cold juice press companies jump on the bandwagon & open by next year, haha

Finally a place in hoboken that actually serves something that tastes as as good as it is good for you! I have tried several of the juices the acai bowl and the raw desserts and it all rules. The people who work there are super passionate about health and very down to earth. If your a fan of any of the juice places in the city(liqueteria, juice generation etc) this place is right up you alley(but probably better)
