This place is awful, they go out of there way to not do anything. Their office needs some serious help, and if they say they are going to do something, they need to do it. Even when you tell them something is «urgent» their response time is measured in days, not minutes or hours.
They were supposed to clean snow this last snowfall, and they didn’t even bother to show up at all, not even a day later or two days later or three days later.
I feel bad for anyone that pays this company to support an apartment building as a «handyman» — better off dealing with issues as they come up versus signing up for a «monthly service.»
Disappointing…

I tried these guys blindly and was extremely pleased! They were clear how they charged, easy to work with for scheduling, responsive, went above and beyond on what I needed and cleaned up beautifully after themselves. I highly recommend them!

Used Man Up to repair my bathroom ceiling after some water damage. They were on time, professional, honest and nice and did a great job. Also voluntarily fixed a sticky door, refreshed some painted areas and hung a smoke alarm. A breath of fresh air after using some shady contractors in the past.

I was able to get an appointment quickly and they came on-​time.
The job was done well within the quoted time and price which can be hard to find when it comes to contracting jobs. The installation quality was great too and there was no mess left behind.
I also felt that they treated my small job (exhaust fan installation) as great as they would treat me if I had a large job.
The person they sent to work on my job was very professional and took the time out to give me tips on how to maintain the equipment so it, hopefully, won’t break again.
I will definitely be calling them again if I need more work done in the future.

Wow wow wow! SO happy with this company! We had a HUGE floor mirror that needed to be secured to the wall. Jennifer responded quickly to my online inquiry, set up an appointment for the very next day, and the job was successfully completed without incident or inconvenience. Karl is friendly, fast and knowledgeable. Their rates are very reasonable. Couldn’t be happier with the service I received and will definitely be using Man Up in the future for all our small jobs around the apartment.

We needed two huge paintings put up in our apartment. The apartment is very old so we needed experienced handymen to help us. The first time the guy drilled a hole, he messed up a little bit but he fixed it immediately by adding more plaster to the wall to cover it up. He did an excellent job of helping center the painting and i could tell he wanted it right.

I had them do some work around the apartment and they deserved 5 stars for quality of their work but IT’S IMPOSSIBLE TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT. Now I need some furniture assembled. We’ve been emailing back and forth for a week now trying to figure out what day works best for them. I’m going to have to use another company because after a week I still don’t have a date when they can come in. 4 starts is way generous for their customer service but the man that actually did the job first time around was fast and professional.

I bought a house here in Hoboken and had a few problems I could not tackle on my own. The basin of the sink fell off the pedestal because the installing contractor was too lazy to bolt it to the wall. I did not have the proper drill and called Man Up to fix my sink. They showed up on time, were professional, INSURED, and were very clean. I am definitely going to be calling them again for the small odds and ends I do not want to do.
