I visited both, Olga Kvitko’s boutique in Hoboken and her showroom in Midtown Manhattan and I was truly impressed with quality of her work. Olga Kvitko’s gowns and dresses will definitely be appreciated by sophisticated, detail-oriented clients. As you can read on her website, Olga worked as an assistant designer for Valentino couture, Bob Mackie and A. Scaasi licensed lounge wear and, as you can imagine, her quality standards are very high. This is probably why some people, who are OK with mainstream-clothing stores quality, can call her«overpriced». Olga is a fashion designer, her gowns are custom made with care and precision. Olga is a fantastic find. I highly recommend her.

She was 100% fabulous and I would recommend her for any work you may need done. She is a little pricier than a regular seamstress, but her creative eye for design and fit is well worth the price. I highly recommend her, especially for complicated wedding gown alternations. She took my mother’s antique gown and turned it into something completely gorgeous and modern while maintaining the spirit of the design.

Terrible service. Unprofessional, overpriced, rude, talks back, and doesn’t have a concept of how to please her customers. I would not recommend this person to anyone. I was criticized for«looking in the mirror too long,» I told her I wanted one thing and she did another, emailed me to see if I remembered my measurements, which I am pretty sure is her job and not mine, and then overcharged me even more when I told her that is not what I had asked for. Jobs that she said would be over $ 100 were done for $ 20 somewhere else. She then complained about customers as my dress was still on my body and told me that«her job requires a lot of patience and that I was too picky.» That is never ok to say to your customer. She may be a good seamstress, but she is not a good professional. Stay away, go to the guy down the block. Not worth your time or money. Huge disappointment.

Olga’s shop may be tiny, but she manages to squeeze in wonderful clothes, jewelry, and accessories into the place. The shop is full of beautiful, well-made European and American designer clothing – not flash-in-the pan styles. Olga is warm, friendly, and helpful; and always digs out beautiful things to show me. This is how shopping used to be before the advent of chain stores. Her shop is a treasure chest and very much worth a visit.

Right in the heart of Hoboken on 4th Street between Washington Ave and Steven’s, Olga’s is a perfect place to get jewelry. But Olga K’s is best for couture clothing, most of it made by Olga herself. Her focus is wedding dresses, but don’t let this scare you, as you can get evening dresses and all sorts of other things there. It’s a fun place to check out and she’ll take the time to fit you as best as possible. I’m a guy so I go there to buy jewelry and other fun stuff, so for the fellas out there, consider that a great tip.

I found this shop almost by accident, as I was wandering around Hoboken yesterday. It has bridal wear, bridal accessories and jewellery, plus fashion clothing, jewellery and some accessories. It’s a tiny little shop, run by Olga Kvitko, who also does couture bridal wear in Manhattan. I bought an evening dress, a top and two great summer skirts that I love. Most of the clothes are made by Olga herself and she was kind enough to alter the skirts for me there and then. Olga is lovely, very friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a look in this store — some of the clothes are unique pieces and very affordable. I’m glad I found this gem of a shop, and will definitely be back for more purchases very soon.
