Probably my favorite bar in Hoboken. So, maybe their drink selection isn’t anything outstanding. And maybe their food isn’t so spectacular. But nothing beats the atmosphere of this bar and it has me coming back each time. This is my go-to spot with all my co-workers. I got them hooked on this place due to the sheer vibe of this bar. The bartenders are great, very friendly and sociable. This place has three floors, including a rooftop with a bar and a TV projector. Great place for networking or just grabbing a beer. The only caveat is how loud the music is. I guess it’s no different from any other bar in Hoboken but with the way the floors are laid out, the speakers should not directly overhead of the tables.

The Bartender, Kaitlyn is amazing! She really knows how to make a great drink and always has tasty suggestions. I came in after work one night to have a «quick drink» and ended up staying all night from having such a great time. Definitely would recommend!

Terribly disappointed by how dry the burger was. The pot pie was equally a let down. What a shame.

This is always a fun place to hangout. The drinks on weekends are expensive, but it’s hoboken. Also if you ever have the chance to go to/host an open bar here — do it, always a great time.

The Dubliner is about what you’d expect from a downtown Hoboken: overcrowded and overpriced, with dance-pop blaring at ear-splitting volumes. The cheapest beer is $ 5.50 and a basic gin & tonic or rum & cola at the rooftop bar will run you $ 13+. That rooftop sets The Dubliner apart from other similar spots in the neighborhood, but there are better places to get your drink(and dance) on.

LOVED the rooftop in the summers! Intimate seating up there with long wooden benches and awesome attentive bartenders who made good, strong drinks and were pretty friendly to our large group. I feel like it was mostly the vibe that kept us all there instead of fancy décor or expensive fancy drinks.

Went here for a Sunday brunch and the food selection(and food itself) was average to subpar. Like other commenters the roof is indeed small and has meager view of other buildings. Also, the NFL Sunday deal was something like $ 1 off a corona bucket, which isnt great considering overall the place isn’t a cool spot and other bars in the area can offer something better.

Great atmosphere and great bartenders. I have been going there for years. Only rooftop spot downtown and also great for football. The screen on the roof is perfect for Sunday games.

Ripoff… Went on a saturday night. The bar downstairs charged $ 9 for a jameson and coke. Pretty steep, but not the worst. Proceeded to the rooftop and ordered the same drink and was charged $ 13. What a joke. Never returning.

I have visited the rooftop twice this summer — which is a pretty big feat at my ripe old age of 32, I don’t hit the hoboken drinking scene too often. The first time my husband and I stopped, we just happened to be walking down to the pier and thought it would be nice to enjoy some sun and a few beers, so we randomly popped in. It was July 4th weekend so it wasn’t as busy as usual on this kind of day and we were able to grab a seat and a bucket of coronas. I planning on ordering any food, but there was a menu on the table with what looked like some delectable wing options so we decided to give the honey siracha a whirl. AMAZING. I’m from western NY so I find it very hard to find wings around NYC/NJ that satisfy my very high standards. These were great! Very crispy(as we requested) and the sauce is phenomenal. We enjoyed the wings so much so that this past weekend as we were again walking to the pier we took a pit-stop here for wings and a bucket of Coronas. It was a busier this time and I had a moment of panic that I couldn’t hang with these 20-something mid-day partiers, but we found a table and enjoyed some sun and a bucket of beers. Of course we ordered the Honey Siracha wings again and also tried the old bay — both were fantastic. Also, the bartender up there, I really must get her name, she is great. She handles the big crowd, you never feel like you’re waiting long. As a former bartender I appreciate someone who really knows how to work a busy bar!

Hoboken does not have many rooftops so when you find a good one, it is a must to share. This place is awesome. Friends and I came as a post happy hour spot before night life bars got popping. We had a great time. Enjoyed the outdoors and some beers.

I’ve been to this place before and I’ve always had a great time. I partied on the rooftop this past weekend and let’s just say I don’t remember much hahahahaha. It was a great time. Not a lot of room on the rooftop but they have a bar up there as well, so its convenient, sometimes you just have to make a line before actually going up. The second floor is more of a dancing, party scene, and the first is more chill. PS: I lost my credit card there and I called the next day to see if they had it, and they did! I picked it up without a problem. I don’t know how important that is to you, but i guess it’s nice to know they can be trusted.

Nice bar. One of only a few rooftop bars in Hoboken. It has three floors which is nice because they each have a different vibe and can fill with different crowds depending on the night. Standard priced drinks, friendly staff AND they have Big Buck Hunter! And Ms. Pac Man! I like to go on the rooftop when it’s nice out. Really chill bar for a weekend during the day and a fun, casual bar for a weekend night. They have a special for a bucket of beers for like $ 15. Good for sharing with your table. Good location downtown, especially if you’re in the mood to bar hop!

With all the times i have been to Hoboken i always saw this place and never went in. Finally we made the move to go in last weekend and it was surprisingly awesome. It was nice weather so going upstairs to the rooftop bar was definitely a treat, not something you can usually get without going into NYC. When we first go there it was like 11:15pm and you’d figure these bars would start packing out on a Friday night. It was a ghost town. But by 12:30am this place was packed and the DJ was killing it. I was sad i had to leave to catch the train actually, i wanted to stay. Drink prices are normal, nothing to brag about. What i personally liked about this place was its not just another cookie-cutter bar on Washington street. The place has an interesting layout and its 3 floors high. There is a bar on every floor(don’t worry). The top floor is the roof, if its nice out i highly suggest you get up there early because it will pack out fast and the bouncer wont let you up. I was happy with my experience though and i will absolutely be back.

Neat little Irish pub near the PATH with a rooftop. Drink prices were pretty average for Hoboken. They have a beer pong table and will gladly let you play. The rooftop gets pretty crowded. They also have a small room with a dartboard, which was surprisingly empty on a Friday night. Overall, not a bad bar to be in.

We decided to try this to check out the rooftop seating. The seating is nice enough but it does not look out onto much and not worth the passive smoke you end up inhaling! We relocated to the 1st floor and even though all 3 floors had their separate tabs, the service staff effortlessly transferred our tabs and we could settle in at the 1st floor bar. The mango margaritas were good(albeit a lil scarce on the alcohol) but since it was available only on the rooftop(why?!), I had to keep making trips to the roof to get my drinks. The other drinks were watered down. The wings and chicken tenders were decent. The servers and bartenders were friendly enough. There is nothing spectacular here that makes me want to come back. just a regular bar. Will probably return at some point of time during our rotation of Hoboken bars.

After years in Hoboken I finally came here on a friends going away bar crawl. Well, now I know what I wasn’t missing for the last 5 years. It has a rooftop. The rooftop is small. The rooftop has views of… other buildings and walls. The rooftop is filled with 22 year old bros. This is a roof fail. The buckets of corona at the bar were $ 17, from the waitress they jumped to $ 18? Curious indeed. The bathroom was similar to that of my fraternity house’s bathroom. Actually this place reminds me of a fraternity house all together. Those years are behind me unfortunately. I see no reason to come back here. This is a bar solely meant for the just out of college crowd and the masses that come into town from their Mom’s basement on the weekends.
