Amazing experience. We went to look at engagement rings twice before we bought one, both times spending multiple hours there waffling over every possible option. Never once did I feel rushed or self-​conscious about how much time we took or how many millions of questions we asked. In particular, Maria was so patient, gracious, and knowledgeable. She really made what probably could have been a very stressful and confusing experience fun and relaxed! When we finally figured out exactly what we wanted, she did an excellent job of making sure the designer (Tacori) understood the customizations when she put the order through, down to the most minute detail.

I went into shop to check out the Alex and Ani line my daughter kept talking about I was met by Maria and Lisa. Both were so friendly! Maria showed me the entire line and gave me the complete 411on the hype of the line. She showed me all of it and helped me pick out just the right one for my daughter. Together we made a plan on to add on for just the right look. Can’t thank her enough for helping me the mom in the Alex and Ani know! The staff, quality of jewelry, and service at W Kodak is purely world class. After receiving numerous recommendations from friends and family I decided to check it out for my now fiancé engagement ring.
The knowledge and expertise in which Maria offered is not available at most jewelers. She worked in my budget and helped me create the perfect engagement ring. Typically jewelers are very untrustworthy and are looking to make a quick sale. This is the complete opposite here. She gave me her best offer on the first quote and instructed me to shop around. Not only was it the best price for that Center stone; no one could come close to the quality as well. At Kodak they value integrity and precision of their work. Their customer service is purely top notch. When it was time to get the ring resized, Maria polished and cleaned ring without asking.
I will be recommending everyone in the future to come here. Getting engaged should be the happiest time of our lives, and entering the wrong jeweler can ruin the process. Not only did they exceed my expectations but they delivered a product that was purely timeless. Something that I will never forget.

I normally don’t post a lot of reviews on Unilocal but our experience was too good not to share. My husband and I recently celebrated our five year wedding anniversary and he wanted to get me something special. We have been residents of Hoboken for some time and stopped in W Kodak as we always pass it walking home from the Path. From the moment we went into the store we were welcomed by such lovely, professional and knowledgeable people. Maria was the one who helped us. We didn’t know whether we were going to enhance my current engagement ring setting or purchase a new one so she went through all of the options and pricing so we could make the best decision both for our style and budget. I ended up getting a new setting from Gabriel and Co. and boy am I happy! In about three weeks I had a brand new ring. I can’t stop looking at it! If you are considering jewelry shopping in Hoboken, absolutely stop here you will not be sorry!

I had a very nice experience here getting a watch battery replaced ($ 15). I dropped it off, they took my name and number and said they would text when it was complete. I left to run a few other errands and received a text saying it was ready about 15min later which was a good turnaround. Friendly service too. My only complaint is that I found out later I could get the same battery replaced for $ 10 just a block up on Washington.

I brought my Wife’s original engagement diamond into Kodak to have set into a necklace. Before I finished explaining my vision, Maria latched on to where I was going and started throwing out various settings and necklace chain ideas for me.
Rather than just selling what they had or what they’d make the most money on, Maria helped me clarify my vision. She was able to interpret what I wanted to accomplish and helped me bring it to life.
Within what felt like 15 minutes of arriving, I had the chain and setting selected, and the diamond was being wrapped up and prepared to be sent off for service.
They were also able to accommodate the short turn-​around I needed to have it ready by her birthday.
My wife absolutely loved the necklace. All-​in-​all it was a pleasurable experience, and I would not hesitate to refer my friends to Maria and team.
If I had a hesitation, it would have been the cost of the job. While I was not afforded the luxury of time to do additional research and look elsewhere, I felt like I may have been able to find a more competitive rate. But then again, I could not say for sure if that’s true and if someone else would have providing the same quality of service.

Bought my fiancé’s engagement ring here and was helped by Maria. She was wonderful. As nerve-​wracking as it was for me, she made the process great. I was shown a bunch of diamonds all within my budget and was actually educated on what I should be looking for. In the end I was torn between two diamonds and Maria actually pushed me toward the less expensive of the two for a variety of reasons. And to top it all off, they were able to have the ring set in like 2 days, as I was proposing during a trip to SF. All in all, I would recommend Kodak to anyone looking for an engagement ring.

The employees at W Kodak helped walk me through the process and got me great product that my wife is very happy with.
