This is an update to a previous review: I purchased a bed online from Zin Home amd my first review was a one star review, amd for a good reason, mainly the lack of communication on their part. The store hrs were not properly advertised for the holiday weekend and so I thought they were open for business based on their website and answering machine but they weren’t. That said, as soon as they were open for business after that holiday weekend, I was contacted by staff and apologized to. I was dealt with courteously and thoroughly. I was able to purchase my bed and am very happy with it. Any other communications I had with them were responded to promptly and honestly I could not have asked for a better experience. Zin Home redeemed themselves professionally and for that I am giving 4 stars.

I was sent an email by Zin Home offering me a 5% discount + FREESHIPPING. When I IM’d with customer service b/c the shipping fee(160.50) wasn’t waived I was told that they had to charge me shipping. This offer was emailed to me directly from their company and they are refusing to honor it. This is false advertising.

Very bad customer service. Not at all helpful. I do not recommend this place. They want to cheat you!

I visited the store at 261 First St after seeing a cushion I liked in their window. I was pleasantly surprised to find it was affordable so I bought it. While inside, I browsed around and found a variety of modern and more traditional furniture along with some eclectic decorative items. I ended up seeing an ottoman that I liked and went back to buy it a couple of days later. The staff were very friendly and they delivered the ottoman to my apartment promptly with a reasonable delivery fee. Would definitely go back again.

There are two sections to Zin: a showroom of furniture, rugs, and other large items, and a section with smaller home accessories. It’s on the pricey side, but that’s what happens outside of big box stores. Plus, these guys have great taste. They carry Dust Furniture! Even if the style isn’t your cup of tea, it’s well-respected, high-end design. Last time I went in, they had this gorgeous glass-top coffee table with a base of knotted wood branches — it was somewhere around $ 300 – 400, which seemed reasonable for something so unique. The accessories section is a good place to look for host gifts, and is most likely where you’ll find me — I’m not in a position to buy that coffee table!
