One of the best Italian subs I have ever eaten. Let me be clear I got the Old World Italian. The sub roll was just average but the meats, cheese and roasted red peppers were incredible. I have been eating Italian subs most of my 40 year existence and this is one you have to try if you love Italian subs! My wife got the Well salad and said it was very good as well. For desert we tried the pastries and those as well were very good. Worth the stop for sure.

This is the best place in Hockessin and even Wilmington! They open at 7 a.m. and serve breakfast until 11 a.m. along with a full selection of coffee and tea. Fresh food made daily, great salads, soups, sandwiches both hot and cold, every kind of pastry, dessert, even birthday cakes. They sell homemade frozen dinners, have a dairy case with milk, eggs, cream, butter and a small selection of fresh vegetables and fruit. They have a deli counter where you can get lunch meat, cheese, salads, rolls and bread. They carry Bing’s bakery items, Henretty’s crab cakes and ice cream from Woodside Farm. Stop by for dinner and relax! The seating is comfortable, it’s cozy, they even have cast iron fireplaces. They also have some decorative inspirational signs and repurposed wood furniture for sale. The husband and wife owners are the kindest, most genuine, honest people I think I have ever met. They go out of their way to do whatever they can to provide you with the best quality food, service, atmosphere, just everything! And they give their profits to charity. The Well is a hidden gem, visit it soon!

Probably the BEST espresso in Delaware. Terrific staff and very comfortable atmosphere. Now for the food — very high quality — terrific prices and big portions. Turkey chili has the right amount of heat and a splash of vegetables. Pulled pork sandwich. Served North Carolina style and smoked fresh there. Note asks for a 50 cent add of Coke slaw to make it truly North Carolina style. Portion is big enough for 2 people. The Bid D burger is huge and is made fresh to order. The turkey is fresh cooked there and super moist. The«thanksgiving on a roll» called the Gobbler may I dare say be better the Capriottis Bobbie. The turkey is just so moist. Don’t forget the pastries are from Bings Bakery and are wonderful. You can get everything from a small treat to a full cake. Did I mention how good the espresso is…

Stopped in here the other night to pick up something quick for dinner. This was my first time in here, but I have been to it’s other iterations dating back to Tom’s produce. The interior is cute, if uniquely spaced out. One corner is a coffee and pastry bar, the middle offers more pasties and soups, and the back corner is the deli with hot sandwiches and some prepared food. What I like most about this place is that it has some of the best local offerings all under one roof. They have pastries and cakes from Bing’s bakeries, Henretty’s crab cakes, and Woodside ice cream. I tried a hot roast beef sandwich with the steakhouse cheese. It was a pretty good roast beef sandwich, but my favorite part was definitely the cheese. I would ask for more of it next time. It was worth the stop, and I will likely be back.

What an unusual place. The food is spaced around the corners of the store. Mixed in with sitting areas(couches and tables). It is a religious place so there are Bible references all over. Everybody is friendly there and they have not tried to convert me yet. Considering you do not see much food, they have a decent list of deli foods available. They make really good hoagies. They slice the meat to order. They have some unusal snacks and gourmet crackers which would be good for taking to parties. It is more of a fancy specialty store than a deli, but worth checking out.

A chill spot to get together with friends or family and hangout get a bite to eat, coffee, ice cream. Prices are cheap, food is mediocre. The atmosphere is very nice, and cool.

I can’t believe it took me so long to discover this place — thankfully on Saturday a co-worker suggested it for lunch. We split a BLT and the black and blue fries — 20⁄20 hindsight we should not have shared — too yummy to split. Everyone was so friendly when I went in to pick up our rather large order(for about 12 people) one of the guys who works there even carried it all out to my car for my while I looked around. Lots of snacks to purchase — I was very tempted. I will be back … maybe even today !

Cute place for a quick breakfast or deli lunch! Fine selection of pastries and really cute coffee shop feel. We visited for a lazy dinner. My strawberries and cream milkshake was real, rich, thick, and creamy. The deli sides were great — Asian flank steak, caprese salad. She enjoyed her Italian sub. Overall, a comfy, quick, tasty meal. Also, all of the profits from the business are put toward religious missions.

Love the coffee shop here. The wifi is free and fast, and the drinks and food are pretty cheap but still delicious. I love that the profits from this go to helping people, too. All in all, I really like this place and would recommend it to others without pause.

I get lunch here all the time. The $ 6.50 lunch special is great! Prices are good. The scones at the coffee place are AMAZING, giant blueberries in them. The precooked dinner food is good too.

The place has been refreshed with new and interesting selection. The take home dinners are both healthy and tasty — i have had about 10 so far! As their selection grows, we’ll be able to do most of our shopping there.

I agree with other previous poster — Greg had a much better selection and prices. This is now quickly going on my list of places that I go for convenience only because of the high prices, but not for the weekly shopping produce trip like I did with Greg. I went tonight and paid $ 6 for a head of lettuce and pack of cherry tomatoes. Why not pay less at the Acme when I buy the rest of my groceries each week(or better yet go to Gigante on Kirkwood Hwy)? Just not worht the effort. Essentially this is the same as Francine’s was 3 years ago — I want Greg back!

I have been a regular customer of Greg’s Produce, and I was dismayed to see that Greg – and his excellent vegetable selection – have now left as of 2011. The selection of produce is now noticeably smaller and prices MUCH higher, with a lot more packaged/expensive items taking up much of the space. I will give this new incarnation another few months but if it does not improve, my business will be moving elsewhere. This is sad.
