7-Eleven Food Stores

This 7 – 11 is only about a block from my apartment, so as you might expect, I stop in here quite frequently to grab drinks, snacks, beer, etc. I am on a first name and extremely friendly basis with nearly all of the employees. I have even managed to pick up a few basic greetings and phrases in Hindi too. Who says you can’t expand your skill set at 7 – 11?
Maybe it is just because I am such a frequent customer, but these guys always go out of their way to make sure I get hooked up. I went to grab a 12 pack of brew last weekend and they stopped me and grabbed a different 12 pack that had been chilling in the colder part of the cooler for me. That’s legit! There are 7 – 11’s pretty much everywhere in this town and the level of service I have received at these other locations is abysmal! They act like they are doing me a favor by taking my money. Not the case here!
The store is always very clean, well stocked, and well maintained, offering up up the type of items you would expect at any 7 – 11. They also have a fairly wide selection of beer, wine, and hard alcohol which makes for a convenient stop off on my way home from work on Fridays. If you get a 3 AM craving for those toxic nachos with self serve chili and cheese, this place can scratch that itch. Though drinking a can of motor oil would likely be a more health conscious decision by comparison.
