If you live in Barrington you are pretty much stuck with this place or Good Shepard. My dr is on staff here so here I came. Let’s just say this place is one to be avoided at all costs. I had a nurse anesthetist and she not only did not give a sedative before surgery, but my anethesia was non exsistent during the procedure. The surgery was 2 hours behind schedule. Do not go here. Bad experience 2⁄3 times. No more chances.

Nursing staff here is mediocre (at best), had one tech who was severely «off» and had planned not to request again the next night if needed, and no communication between doctors, staff and patient/​family about what’s being done and what the plan is. Will definitely go to Lutheran General next time instead.

Came to the ER tonight and have had nothing good to say about this place. We need stitches and it’s been over an hour and are still waiting. No doctors to be seen and security guard is super rude. If I can help it I’m not coming back to this place.

Best Hospital experiance ever! No lie. I have been to plenty hospitals befor (my health is not where it should be) but this place by far recieved the best review. Staff there is very nice, you feel the warmth… they really love what they do.
