I used a groupon here for a cut, color, partial highlights and deep conditioning treatment. The gal who took care of me was nice and did a very good job. While there, I also got my eyebrows threaded & that also went well. It was my first time getting my eyebrows threaded and I am so glad I did. I was very happy with my cut, color & hair treatment as well as my eyebrows. I appreciate their longer hours as i work locally and I will definitely go here again.

I do my eyebrows and upper lip threading and they do a wonderful job in comparison to other places. The prices are reasonable as well. They really put their time into threading unlike other places and don’t leave anything out.

Definitely unsanotized and no professional ethics. Even though you put your name on the list and wait for 20 – 40 minutes, if a regular customer walks in, they attend them first. Everything around is dirty and unkept. I have to always show them the areas they leave out on my eyebrows, they dont do a clean job. I would never go there again and don’t recommend anyone either. Stay away!

BEWARE OF THIS SALON. I had a Groupon certificate for a $ 26 Manicure/​Pedicure. This place is a hair salon mainly with a tiny manicure table and 1 chair for a Pedicure. I got there and the lady who does the nail stuff was not there, they had to call her, which would be fine, however when I asked where the polishes were to pick a color, they only had about 4 OPI color and very ODD colors and they were almost empy and looked dryed out. I asked if they had more and they said to check inside this shoe box (in side were all leftovers of Avon and Sally Hansen polishes) about 10 maybe. I picked red, it was the only decent color. Then the woman came, the whole time she talked to her self and kept looking at me very oddly saying I am sorry, I am sorry. She was making strange noises also. I thought she was talking to me and she said no she was talking to Jesus (which is fine when you are maybe by yourself) I was getting extremely uncomfortable, then doing my manicure she kept apologizing for touching my hands (REALLY) I know this all sounds like I am making it up but I am not. This was one very wierd experience! I usually have no problem with Groupon purchases, BUT I think Groupon better research this Salon before doing this special again. If you do decide to use teh Groupon bring your own color and be ready for some wierd stuff going on with the nail person.

This place is dirty and unsanitized. The lady who did my mani/​pedi is nice. They only had one person doing it. Oh my goodness my experience was terrible. Like another Unilocaler stated there wasn’t any sanitizer of the tools. For a nail tech that has 9 years on her belt sure takes a long time to do a mani pedi. It looks like she was shaking when applying the polish. It looks like my daughter could have done the job. There wasn’t much colors to choose from. The nail tech had put some foot crème on my calves and I didn’t get a massage. The crème made my skin dry and I didn’t think it was supposed to go on my calves. I mean it says foot crème for a reason, supposed to go on my feet. On top of that, it made my legs itch. Thank goodness it was a groupon. It was a good idea that I left my kids at home! It was so filthy dusty!
I don’t know where to begin when it came to my manicure. Just a sloppy job altogether. Polish was everywhere. Cuticles were not cut. Tools came out of a pouch that had dust all over the place. I am sorry but I won’t be coming back to this place for any other service maybe just for threading.
$ 7 not bad for threading. $ 8 for waxing.

If you go for a mani/​pedi, there is one person and one chair. My daughter and I went and we were there for over 2 hours for two mani/​pedis. We will not be going back again.

You get what you paid for… The nail job was decent. The nail girl was really nice. Zero star for sanitation. There was not one glass of that blue liquid to sanitize the nail tools. This is not a spa like treatment, no massage or fancy lotions here. I was too nice to say please don’t pay attention to my cuticles because I didn’t want her to use the cutting tools on me. The reason I know the tools are not sanitized is because after using it on me, she slightly wiped it on the dirty towel she used on me and put it back in her tool holder. The place is just not clean. Upon entry, no greeting, on the waiting area with 3 – 4 chairs, there’s a bunch of garbage on the ledge. Their private massage or treatment rooms were of a caliber of a home type setting. Definitely no luxury or any attention to details. There’s Hindi music blasting. Very sub par quality salon equipment. The bathroom appeared cleaner than the rest of the salon. Yikes. Oy vey!
The selection of nail color is about 30 different nail polish bottles. Less than 10 of them were OPI, the rest are the cheap and generic selection.
Next time, I’ll pay full price at another nail salon. I paid $ 22 on groupon and I got it’s worth.
POSITIVE: a couple of the girls who came there were there for threading and I heard comments like «you’re so good!» Maybe this place is good for eyebrow threading (???)

Groupon time! Another try thanks to good ol Groupon. This place is not the most cleanly, up to date, warm business I usually would go to but it wasn’t the worst. The prices are cheap, my eyebrows looked clean and it wasn’t busy. However… I felt like my face was on fire and the threader was much to aggressive. This place is closer to my house so would be great for in case of an emergency situation.

Excellent eyebrow threading– and for only $ 5!
I’ve never had a bad experience here, even though I only come in once every 6 – 8 months or so.
Unbeatable prices and quality, they really do a wonderful job with threading your eyebrows, which is starting to become a difficult find.
They put lotion and aloe on you after to limit the irritation to your skin. It seems to be a family business as well, which is nice to come across.
AA Is conveniently located in Hoffman Estates, near the Golf Center.

I just waited 40 mins outside this place in order to get my eyebrows done. this after the sign on the door clearly says open from 11am-​7pm. I got there at 12 pm, called the owner twice. She didn’t pick up. I stayed for 40 mins in which I saw other customers come and go. While the service they offer is alright, they need to realize the importance of other peoples’ time. If you say you’re open at 11 am, be open at 11 am. Don’t put up a sign that you cannot honor. Also, this isn’t the first time this has happened. This is no way to treat customers. I know I’m not going back.

Can’t beat the price for eyebrow threading, and it was very skilled and quick. I had a lot of extra hairs going on and the woman cleaned them all up and gave my eyebrows a nice shape. I might not have liked that had I had any specific eyebrow shape to retain, but I was alright going in with no expectations, and my eyebrows feel 10 lbs lighter now.

It is easy to miss this salon, tucked away at the corner of Higgins and Roselle, near the Papa John’s Pizza. The price for threading is really low and Anila did a great job with my eyebrows. A basic haircut was 20 $, and it shaped up pretty good too. Its spacious and clean, and both ladies seem very popular among the customers. very polite and non-​interfering, unlike some other salons where the beautician will try to chat you up and be overfamiliar. They do bridal makeup, party and prom makeup, mehendi, hair color, the works. They are open till 7 PM on weekdays which is very convenient for those who are working. I also saw some men coming for haircuts and they seemed very happy with the end result.
I, for one, am definitely going back!

$ 5 for threading, and with much care.
Of course, I’m a fan.
