Dave the Handyman

Dave is the guy who does things right. He isn’t the fastest, but only because he doesn’t take the easy way out shortcut that looks ok but doesn’t last.
He repaired the sub floor under the toilet so it is better than the original construction. He is so meticulous about making the floor strong and perfectly level, that the cabinet and sink were also perfectly level without any fussing or shims.
The tile I chose wasn’t actually a planned repeat, but I wanted them to look like a continuing line in the small room — and he worked closely with me to make sure it laid out as I wanted. You can see in the pictures how beautifully he laid the tile. This is the third room we’ve had Dave put tile down for us over the last few years and they all look great and hold up.
He’s a bit optimistic on quoting how long it may take, but that’s because he will actually stop and fix whatever is wrong that he finds on the way, as if it were his own place. I much prefer the job to take an extra couple of days rather than someone slapping things together without properly checking the materials and methods. If you are like me, then Dave could be your guy.
