Jenny is the BEST! She was able to alter my wedding dress, remove the beading around the waist, add straps, add a band inside to keep my dress from slipping, and change the color of my veil! Also, she accommodated custom alterations for my Mom, 3 sisters and 4 nieces’ dresses in just a few months. Not only are her prices affordable but Jenny’s demeanor is professional, friendly and inviting. I could tell right away that she knew what she was doing and is an expert. After trial and error with other seamstresses working out of their homes, I was pleased to see that Jenny’s home is completely smoke-​free, clear of any pet hair and stress-​free.

I bought a dress for my engagement party from a dress store in Niles. The dress fit terribly after alterations were done at the store & you could see where the lady cut the seams on each side of the dress. It was TERRIBLE! I called Jenny to have her fix the seams, take in the dress & put a bustle on the dress. She SAVED the day. The dress was all Gold with sequence & seemed to be a difficult material. It turned out beautifully after Jenny did her magic. I’m taking in the same dress for alterations to wear again. She does AMAZING WORK!

The BEST (and my favorite) vendor I worked with during the adventure that is known as wedding planning. Just recommended her yet again to someone else and I realize I haven’t even written my own review about Jenny!
Found her through here and was worried at first (since she doesn’t have too many reviews though they’re all 5-​stars obviously) but I’m SO glad I got to know her. Got my dress on 6/​30, first spoke with her on 7/​30, met with her for the first time the following week, then she worked with me every other week during my stressed phase (switching to weekly within a month of the wedding) to make sure my wedding dress fit like a GLOVE on ⁹⁄₂₆. Reasonably priced too — the bridal shop said with the kinds of changes I was looking to make to the dress, it would have easily cost $ 400 but I paid maybe half that and the work was so great that I felt she really did deserved more than what she charged.
Super friendly, really flexible, and affordable! What’s even better is I can keep working with her long after the wedding, as long as I have stuff that needs fixing, which is most clothing in my life as I don’t know how to operate a sewing machine/​needle/​thread.

Jenny did my alterations for my wedding dress. Not only did she have it done in a week, the cost was very very reasonable and the quality of work was impecable. She was so nice and made it a pleasurable experience from beginning to end. I will def recommend her to others and use her for all my alteration needs in the future. She could not have done anything to make this a better experience.
