Minar Meat Mart

This is based on me repeatedly purchasing only one item: marinated tandoori chicken. If you are need chicken for a family 2 or 3 and don’t feel like marinating yourself, this is the place to go. Give them a call an hour or so before and go pick it up. If you have a family, save yourself the money and do it yourself. It’s not that hard people. My only complaint is that the price and product often varies depending on who you communicate with.
1 piece of chicken = leg and thigh
I often ask for only thighs and I get charged a dollar more. that is something to think about as it jacks up the price from 3.99 to 4.99 a pound. Again, the price depends on who you talk to. I think this is the pitfall for all small business. Be clear people! I don’t think it is fair to charge me
more for just asking for thighs. I understand you are then left with the drumstick, but come on…
Overall it is delicious though. Ask for it spicy though. And as mentioned, don’t expect the same taste twice. Luckily, all encounters with taste has been good thus far.

First of all the service was very slow. It took 30 mins. to get my order which was 1.5 lbs. of meat. Second I was overcharged as I had an order of boned and boneless meat. Third he gave me 1 lb. of meat when I asked for ¾ of a lb. and said it was too hard to do. As the meat was cut in pieces this was easy to do and he did not ask me if over was ok. The overcharge was about $ 2.00 and he acted like it was nothing, even when I advised him of the prices posted. He said I got a very good cut of meat but hey the posted price is not arbitrary. Last he put raw chicken on the scale, wiped the scale carelessly with a dry cloth, two swipes and then put meat on the scale and did not wear gloves so food handling is substandard.
I will not return.

Excellent quality of meat. Definitely worth the dollar. And it’s clean, which is a nice change from most halal meat stores!

This place is a complete rip off. Terrible quality and definitely overpriced. I am glad I have found an alternate place for my meat.
