Dr. Mona Ghosh has delivered two of our children and has been my wife’s OB/GYN for over 6 years. She is by far THE best and most caring doctor I have ever come across! I can’t even begin to explain the comfort level she provided and the level she has gone above and beyond for my family. Truly blessed to have found her and wouldn’t even think of using another. Even though her office in Hoffman Estates is almost an hour ride from us, we would drive 2 if that is what it took. As for the lady who commented that she thought she was bossy and insisted on treatments not needed. Well, my thought on that is that she is a doctor. And a damn good one at that. If she was being bossy, my guess is that you(who are most likely not a doctor) were not listening to her. You getting better or doing well is a direct correlation to how well she is doing her job, so it makes sense for her to be bossy if you are not listening to her advice. And as for the comment about pushing treatments not needed… well, she is a very efficient doctor! Efficiency is a good characteristic in a doctor. I’d much rather her be thorough than not! Especially given the type of medicine she practices. Couldn’t recommend her any more highly! Do yourself a favor and make this your doctor. BTW… 2 c-sections for my wife and the scar is practically invisible. SHE’S THEBEST!

Don’t go to Dr. Mona Ghosh, if possible. She is a horrible doctor, ver bossy and will scare you with unnecessary things. She will make you wait forever and worst part, her reception staff is very very rude. Save yourself and stay away from this Doctor.

Been going to see Dr. Mona Ghosh since the beginning of 2011, after finding her on ZocDoc… with excellent reviews… which DO do her justice. The office hours are convenient, and you can book appointments online… Her services are excellent and she is very caring… based on this, I consolidated and have her as my primary care physician as well… so now I dont have to take time off to see my PCP(as I had been forced to do prior) or to get blood drawn, and everything is bundled into one visit. The only reason I pulled a star? The wait times, between the main room and exam room, are at least 30 minutes, which seemes excessive to me… and one of the phlebotomists is not as skilled as the other, failing to deliver on painless needle poking promises.
