I dislike fast food. A lot. But White Castle is good! They need more locations though! But it’s such a convient cheap place for their crave worthy burgers!

Their breakfast in unbelievably great for the price. At this location the ladies are always so nice when answering the phone and very appreciative of the business. I would give them 6 stars if that was possible. Thank you for the happy tummy. –Toyota

I had never had White Castle before this visit, and I am a HUGE burger lover. I was NOT disappointed at all! I went a little nuts with my order getting a bunch of items. I ordered the little double cheese slider burgers, onion rings and fries and a drink. I was not disappointed, despite reading mixed reviews. This particular location had a nice gal at the drive through and looked pretty clean and nice from the outside.

Tried their ultimate sriracha chicken, it was awesome. Their fish sliders on the hand… just meh. Decent food and quick service. Well, what more do you expect at a fast food place?

Stopped in here yesterday to relive a fond memory. All the WC locations in my home town of Kansas City closed well over a decade ago, and the towns of my subsequent educational institutions also lacked the Castle. I knew that they could not of been gone for good, as I still often saw the frozen sliders in the freezer aisle while shopping. However, the frozen versions are an awful substitute as they come out of the microwave a soggy mess you almost need a fork to eat. I have tried numerous variations on cooking time and microwave power to no avail. The frozen version sliders are pretty useless unless you happen to have a dog. As such, I was pretty excited to see an old school brick and mortar location close by and I just had to check it out. What I found out after stopping in is that WC has diversified their game significantly. They now serve breakfast too, and they have a multitude of different sliders to choose from. I got a couple of originals of course, so I could contrast with the abysmal frozen ones. I also picked up the promotional Sriracha chicken and Jalapeño cheese sliders and an order of fries. Game On! Sliders are about a 2 or perhaps 3 bite endeavor for me under normal circumstances, but since I was planning on writing a review I tried to slow up to savor. They are 1000% better than the ones you will find in your freezer aisle, but I was still not totally impressed. Maybe my taste buds have just evolved since my early teens when I last had one. After all, I even like Brussel Sprouts now, which you would think my Mother was trying to expose me to nerve gas back in the day to get me to try them at the dinner table. The fries were awesome from a crispiness standpoint, but that is mainly just blind luck at fast food places. If you happen to stop in when they make a new batch, you get hooked up. They were, however, too salty for my taste. All in all, I guess my palate must be getting sophisticated on me, as they were just not as awesome as I remember. I hope I do not wake up one day and find out I no longer have a taste for Gelato.

White Castle is probably the worst quality and fattening food ever but hey they’re open late, it’s cheap, and always hot and fresh(by fresh I mean they cook their frozen food at the time of order). Not the fastest because they cook to order. Mehhhh

Slow discourteous staff been going here high school too bad I will not be coming back. I’m happy to deal with slow speeds but ignoring me and taking care of another customer in the back of the line before me is inexcusable and when I say hey wait a min she just walked in they just smiled and continued to take the order.

Worst White Castle burgers I ever had, I am a big fan of White Castle but when we took them out of the box they felt as if they where either reheated and burned or dried up old or something the buns where crispy and had holes in them and the meat was hard. I opened each one at first I thought ok I can get over 1 but they where all that way. Terrible I still ate two out of 10 since I was super hungry but bad. Unpleasant. I decided to eat the mozzarella sticks I ordered. I won’t be coming back. Idk if this matters but we got them 01÷05÷15 @ 1:05 am. Just incase the manager sees this. I don’t think anyone should go there looking for a meal like what I just had. My poor son are one and told me mommy taste this I don’t like it and I argued at first till I tried it myself. :(I won’t be eating White Castle for a while & definitely won’t be going back to this one.

First time at White Castle. I was far from convinced by the food but the restaurant was very clean and the staff was fast with the order. There were plenty of tables free at lunch time while it didn’t feel deserted.

Restaurant review Sliders galore. Clean, fast, efficient, and friendly without a hassle using a coupon. They have ample seating, friendly staff, and the food comes quickly. I can’t say that there is anything wrong with this location. So if you want sliders this is a great place to visit! Pro: white caste crave! Cons: none Hidden gem: Check online for coupons or new promotion on new food

This is my childhood and adulthood drug. They’re so small and so thin, but why do they taste so good? I think it’s the tiny bits of grilled onions that they cook in. With cheese, excellent. Without cheese, excellent. Sober or not, these are soooo good. Our grocery freezers on the west coast have them. But I can’t waste my time on this convenience. It’s totally worth the wait to go to Chicago, or wherever else they have WC, even if it’s years in between fixes. When I’m in Chicago, I always take home a box of 30, or two. They conveniently pack them fresh in a box with a handle so you can take them on the plane with you. :)) There’s nothing like these burgers. Nothing.

This is one of the best White Castles I have been to. It is the kingdom of mud butt. A place that has such tastey burgers at 3 a.m. & will make you poop your pants at 10 a.m. so keep that in mind. I had a taste for White Castle & was in the area. I went inside & placed my order for 10 Jalapeño Burgers & a large sweet tea. One good thing about this place is that they are open not just in the drive thru 24 hours a day but they are also open inside for dining 24 hours a day. I have seen some mutants in here at 3 or 4 in the morning before but I guess that is what you get for eating out late. White Castles are a little bit slower for fast food but I guess that is because everyone places a bigger order. Especially at 3 or 4 in the morning. However once I got my food it was delicious. It was nice & hot & the jalapeño cheese was awesome. It had a real nice kick to it & lots of flavor. The sweet tea was good as well. Overall this is probably the best White Castle location I have been to. In high school I would travel many towns to get to this location because they didn’t have any around me. I would eat here again.

This was one of our stops on our road trip to Minnesota. Man it was the first time I had it and it was worth the wait. I take my trusty Unilocal app out to see where is the closest White Castle and it took us to this one. It was located near car dealerships. The place looks a little run down and dirty but it’s okay. It’s my first White Castle experience. I look at the menu and was like whoa what to get. But pretty much it’s just sliders with a meat or chicken in the middle. I got the original ones because that’s he one your suppose to get and got some new breaded chicken one. I also got fries and also a soda. It was about $ 10 and worth every single penny. The original ones are ok not my favorite but the new chicken ones they had were awesome. I also got the sauces I dipped my sandwiches and fries with, those were very Ono! For sure I will be going back to White Castle when I’m near one and in the area.

The sliders at White Castle demonstrate a perfect marriage of delicious and unhealthy. They are very tasty, but also not something that I would eat on a regular basis(unless I’m in the mood for regular tummyaches). White Castle is far from gourmet, so don’t expect a dazzling experience. The interior is a little dated(but clean), and the service is friendly. Even though the burgers are small, it doesn’t take much to fill me up(3 is the most I can do in one sitting). It’s a nice break from the McDonald’s, Wendy’s, and Burger Kings(ewww) around these parts. And they’re open 24⁄7 on Fridays and Saturdays! :-)

White Castle sliders will always have a special place in my heart. Is this White Castle any more special than any other White Castle locations? No Do they make the original slider, cheeseburger, and jalapeño slider just they I like? Yes Are the fries fresh and crunchy? Yes Have they ever messed up my order? No Have I been inside? No There’s not much to review here except that they make the food the way I like. And I like White Castle’s food. It’s not for everyone. If you want a gourmet burger go to Au Cheval. If you want a lot of burger, go to Kuma’s. Come to White Castle only for that special White Castle steamed meat and grilled onion slider taste. Love the crinkle fries. Love the sliders. Love the iced tea. I even like the odd chicken rings. Don’t judge me. But if you’re reading this review, I assume you like White Castle too :)

Not that anything about White Castle is good or desirable, but this particular location has a special skill set in making me have a flame-broiled temper. First of all, there should be a standard when it comes to making sweet tea. Hint: Add sugar. The sweet tea here always tastes like water with a hint of dried up pine cone(I was a kid once and snacked on them, I should know). While not specific to this location, the prices for what should be «quarter burgers» are insane, paying nearly a dollar for burgers lacking in food value vs. going to McDonalds with much larger burgers, $ 1 drinks, better food consistency and value, and an easy to communicate with staff just seems silly. Like most people in the Schaumburg area, I work in an office building in the area, and as typical with state law, I get an hour lunch. It feels like I consume 5 lunches waiting in the drivethru for this place. I’m not sure if they order it from a different location or what, but it takes forever to get to me. The part that really put me over was the day I ordered 4 jalapeño burgers and a sweet tea. The tea, bland as always, was just dumped out(I went to the McDonalds down the road and got a good one). So, as I’m sitting in McDonald’s lot, I start eating my burgers. I get to the second one and realize it is missing the top bun! The cheese is stuck to the cardboard! With that sort of attention to detail, I gave up on correcting the order and simply threw away the remainder of the meal. I’ll be attaching an image of the burger as I received it.

So you know that place that you order food from after a looooong night of drinking, you don’t remember actually consuming it, but you really pay for it the next day? Yeah, that’s White Castle for me. So when we ordered sliders without being drunk the other night(while sober), I really wasn’t sure WHAT to expect. As it turns out, it was more delicious than I thought it would be! Chili-Skip it. It’s SO bland Onion Rings – not too bad Jalapeño sliders-Yum – just a hint of a spiciness kick Cheeseburger slider – delicious, even while sober. Plus, they now have the option to order online! So that means I ordered everything, and it was ready for my husband to go and get it! You pick a time, and it’s ready for you. He just went through the drive-thru, gave him his name, and they gave him the food. There’s also an option to pay online if you wanted to, which is pretty cool. So why the three stars? I will save you the details, but a few hours after eating, my husband got to utter the phrase«Now I know why they call them sliders…» :(

Sliders, gut bombs, no matter what you call them, the small square burgers cooked on a bed of onions, are a distinctly American tradition. The White Castle chain was one of the first fast food establishments, started in 1921 in Wichita, Kansas. Americans were reticent to eat ground beef at the time, due to the popularity of Upton Sinclair’s novel of the meat packing industry in «The Jungle.» Walter Anderson, along with his partner Billy Ingram, made their outlet out of white porcelain enamel on the outside, and stainless steel inside, believing the scheme denoted«cleanliness.» For a time, as the chain grew, they were cranking out pre-fab versions of the porcelain castle, and one still stands in Minneapolis. Sliders were originally a nickel until the 1940’s, then 10 cents for a long time after that. Today, a single burger is 68 cents and the menu has been expanded to include breakfast sandwiches, chicken breast sliders, and a couple of very unique items, «chicken rings», and«fish nuggets.» Four burgers, an ample size fries(crinkle-cut), and medium drink will set you back less than five bucks, and there are various other combination meals with come with larger quantities of burgers. They even sell a one hundred pack. Some folks say White Castles taste best when it’s the middle of the night, and one has indulged in too much alcohol. But I’d take exception to that. The only time I ever had Mrs. Burgerdogboy in a White Castle, we had indeed consumed too much alcohol, and while the burgers tasted just fine to me, the stainless steel bench proved the perfect resting place for her pretty little passed out head. But I’ll even eat them sober. I love ‘em. There are many ‘clones’, whether Castle Burgers in New Orleans, or Krystal, a chain across the south similar to White Castle, but with a deeper menu
