I didn’t really have much choice with this hotel, but thought I would go for it. I needed a bed so badly by the time I got to Hohenwald, I didn’t want to drive to the next town. Average small town motel. If you are used to the Sheraton or Hampton Inns… keep driving there are better hotels in nearby towns. If you are used to small town flea bag motels, like Days Inn, Super 8, Econolodge, etc. This one is not bad. Front desk was friendly, my room was clean. An insect of some kind walked across the bed, but it had wings, so I may have brought it in with me. There were a lot of little hairs in my sink, like from someone shaving… obviously not from me, as I don’t shave my face :) You could tell sink was cleaned, but just not well. Sheets were clean and floor was vacuumed. No bug problems, as I always check my mattresses for signs of that before I go to sleep. And bed was surprisingly comfortable. I felt it was overpriced, but then again they are the only hotel in town, I guess they can charge what they want.
