Cute little restaurant we stopped at during our drive from ABQ to the Grand Canyon. Facilities: very clean Restroom: unisex but very clean Food: delicious and well priced Service: quick and friendly I’m not a big food critic or anything like that but I was happy with what I ordered and found the portions plentiful. Nice little mom and pop place, would tell my friends to stop by.

Great place to eat! The owners are great people as well. Not much room so sometimes it can be crowded

Decent food, simple and plain, but satisfying. Very nice staff, friendly and engaging. Service was attentive but not overwhelming. Clean enough. Close to KOA.

Nice little café, prices were reasonable, the food was just passable. One point of concern was that the server said the chicken fried steak was hand breaded, when it was obviously packaged, pre-frozen out of a box. 3 orders of the same menu item were exactly the same size and shape with no flavor at all; at least the mash potatoes were fresh

Great food and friendly and attentive help. I had the bacon breakfast burrito, enchilada style, with beans and cheese instead of fries or hash browns. Total with a massive glass of iced tea was under $ 10(before tip).

Had a great lunch stop on our way to Phoenix. The Mexican food is simple but delicious. The hot sauce is some of the best I’ve had. The Wednesday special of 3 tacos, rice and beans for 5 bucks can’t be beat for value. I especially liked the cheese enchilada with green sauce. The place is cute and a throwback with the old time diner feel to it. Super clean! Looks like everything was just painted inside and out. Go there on your next road trip through Holbrook.

Perfect stop for great breakfast before venturing into the Petrified Forest. The service was the right level of attentive without being intrusive and the young man who waited on us had no issue customizing our breakfast. Can’t wait to go back!

Way way way overrated. Clean & very nice staff, but beans were canned, tamale was not homemade(probably frozen), chili sauces were mediocre.

We Unilocaled this place and it had 4 stars. It was a great find. Simple American and Mexican food done well. They made a chicken sandwich for my wife and I had huevos rancheros. The chicken was cooked perfectly and my meal was delicious. Good service too.

Food was excellent, simple ingredients crafted together into something delicious. The picky eater at the table loved his burger and the price was perfect!

Stopped here on our way home back from Las Vegas, NV for brunch. The prices were reasonable. The food was mediocre. Huge portions though! I guess this is one of the best restaurants here considering there was only a handful in this rural area. The service was okay. There was a little bit of a wait on our food. During our visit, the toilet was clogged, but they quickly fixed it after they were informed. I wouldn’t stop by to this exit again for food. There was very limited choices of restaurants and fastfood chains.

Big disappointment. Food is below average and lukewarm, including coffee… I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Food was bland and low in quality. Went with the Mexican on the menu and I was not happy with my meal. The staff however were nice, but food that tastes good is important too.

We chose this place based on Unilocal and the surrounding food joints. This one had ok reviews and better pictures. I’m sure this is a prime place for this town, but don’t expect a lot. The food is mostly fried or microwaved. We stuck with Mexican and had tacos, enchiladas and chile relleno. No Bueno. The tacos were soggy, the chile relleno was a fried mess. The enchilada was ok. Warning, the salsa and enchilada sauce are a little spicy. The place was fairly clean and the staff are nice. I did overhear several locals raving about the food so my guess this place is one of the better local places. I don’t like fast food so this is the place we chose. The upside was to feed 3 adults we paid $ 20.

Not a bad little diner. Don’t let the«rustic» décor fool you, this place really is a dive. Having said that, service was prompt and attentive, and our meal was tasty. I had a bacon cheeseburger with green-chile fries. The burger was good, with a decent amount of bacon. The chile-fries were a bit soggy, but the chile sauce was kinda thin. Good chile’s though. Wife had a fried-fish plate and she did not complain, so that is a good thing. Prices were reasonable and bathroom was clean, although situated right next to diners.

Top 10 on «Worse service ever!» Owner said he’s been in restaurant 30 years? Mr Owner you have no clue. If a dissatisfied customer comes up to you and tells you how terrible the service was and you agree with them. Just don’t say your sorry«things happen». You’re suppose to say«how can I make this right?» Just imagine when you have only 2 servers for 40 customers, and more people coming in. A lot of people regret coming in the restaurant that day, me included, and we were in there when it was only 10 people. If you’re visiting Petrified Forest NP. Don’t waste your time on this place, go eat somewhere else. Décor — 2 star, nothing fancy. Taste — 3 stars, was good Service — 0 stars, very bad, very long wait for food. Value — 1 star, waste of time,

Good food for a good price. Clean and cool inside and a wide variety of items on the menu. I’d recommended the Broccoli and Cheese Chicken Breast or the Open Faced Chili Burger. Beware — the green chili has some heat! The dinner«entrees» come with a lot of extra sides, such as a salad and a baked potatoe. Everything on the menu is served all day, too.

Holbrook is not restaurant heaven but this place was sparkling clean at 7 am with a $ 5 breakfast special that hit the spot. Great coffee and tasty pancakes, eggs, and bacon for two for under $ 15. Almost as good is the fact that we did not depart smelling greasy. They are open 6am to 9 pm. Highly recommend.

We ate dinner here on our way to California. The reviews were good. I was expecting just Mexican food but was surprised to find breakfast, burgers, shakes, soup, BBQ sandwiches and a few Mexican selections. I ordered a breakfast burrito which was good, especially the salsa. Two of my sons and husband had burgers. They were gone in short order. One had ordered the guacamole burger. That was a favorite. My other son had bacon, eggs and hashbrowns. Eggs were perfect, bacon crispy. Our waitress was new(she forgot an appetizer but food came out so quickly there really was no need for one!) but very friendly. We finished up with strawberry shakes which we watched her make. They were good. The restaurant was small but very clean. I would return and would definitely recommend.
