I took my car to another shop regarding a check engine light. They quoted me $ 900, saying two parts had to be changed. I brought it to MTA for a second opinion, under recommendations from a friend. Richie was so helpful and personable. He pulled out diagrams and explained to me how the parts involved worked. It turns out I only needed one part changed instead of the two. The total came out to be less than $ 500. And my cars been running fine since. I am a young 20 something year old female and it feels good to have a place I know I wont be taken advantage of.

Suggested to me by family. In fact my family went here for years. I guess richie thought he could pull a fast one. My car had several problems. After realizing a pattern that I was spending hundreds of dollars a couple times and the original problem was never fixed. But I was still charged for other repairs which he probably never even performed. Would not recommend to anyone.

I went to Richie after my landlord suggested MTA to me when my Thunderbird’s alternator failed. I was really pleased with how quickly they responded with a tow, and they fixed it even quicker! Richie is a solid and honest mechanic. I had a great experience and I would recommend MTA to any friends or family in the area. Two thumbs up, great job, guys!!! Thanks again!
