Stop for a quick slilce. They have only 1 and thats fine. I pay for it and say dont heat it up. Clerk confirms that and says fine. Starts to walk over to get my order phone rings stops answers asks customer to hold. She then starts talking to said person and takes a huge order. In the mean time Im still waiting to eat. An employee comes over takes the slice throws it in the oven for himself. Clerk is still on the phone and I walk out. For a $ 1 slice they lost my future business. In a town with 17 other places to get a slice not a good way to treat a customer

Great food and very friendly place. I’m a big fan of their chicken parm subs. Thanks for the great service

AWESOME greek salad with steak tips. everything I have tried is great. love the grilled cheese menu!

Saw a deal on Groupon and the reviews looked good so we gave it a try. Got buffalo wings, peters steak tips and a fish and chips. The wings were small and over priced, the fish was dry and over cooked, however the steak tips were great. I called because I felt as though I was over charged, (according the menu that I obtained while picking up my order) and the first 2 people I spoke too were nice and said an old menu probably got stuck in with there new menu and they put the manager on the phone, I explained what happened and said I wasn’t calling to complain about the food just that I wasn’t charged correctly, she was beyond rude, yelled and said if I read the bottom of the menu it states that «all prices are subject to change» I replied «but isn’t that when you change the price and reprint the menu» she then yelled and swore at me and hung up. I will never give this place my business again, nor will I suggest anyone else either. Terrible.

We ordered a few pizzas from Maria’s last night. They were really friendly and the pizza Was really good, especially the buffalo chicken. We will be back !

Just left my first visit. Suggested by my dad. He got the American chop suey with meatballs. I got the eggplant part panini and fries. I tried the meatball. It was delicious. My dad was pretty focused on the chop suey. The panini was amazing. The bread was crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. Eggplant was sliced thin and lightly breaded with a great marinara sauce. Huge portions. Definitely get a bang for your buck. Fries were good too. Huge and varied menu. Nice and bright inside. Clean. Had a couple of tvs but they weren’t distracting. Will definitely go again.

It is SO good to have Maria and the family back in the saddle here. Dinner last night was just like we remembered it. The chicken cacciatore was Delicious. The kids loved their meals too. And everyone in there is friendly and helpful. We can’t wait to go back again. Awesome meals and service! Oh yeah, they have beer and wine now too.

I originally come from the Boston area. Having visited 30 or so states, I have never had a better Chicken Parm sub than at Maria’s. The meatball parm sub is another favorite. Tomato sauce, meatballs, and even the bread tastes homemade. You can watch your food being prepared, as the open kitchen underscores the integrity of this exceptional family business. Whenever I visit family, I admit I go to Lobster Hut first to get my seafood fix. But when I start thinking Italian, it’s not the North End on my mind. Instead, it’s Maria’s.

Take out order everyone loved the subs. No complaints. My sub was meaty and full. No pizza ordered.

Maria’s has the best food! Everything there is delicious. We especially love the chicken gyros with pickles and pizza. We also love the owner and staff. Everyone there is so friendly.

The food is very good, always fresh. the people are very friendly I will def be back and def recommend this place. very pleased, no complaints. the prices are good as well

ANNIE has taken over the family business and the Holbrook community and surrounding areas couldn’t be happier. We travel from Somerville just for the steak tips.
So happy Annie has taken over and built it back up. She brought back all the old fam recipes like Maria’s famous Greek dressing!
All the food is made fresh daily. You can’t beat the pizza ether. No other pizza place in Holbrook compares. Not one item on the menu will disappoint you.

Marias is just great! Family operated and one of the few greats in holbrook. Their steak and cheese and cheesy fries are delicious! A massive menu selection with fair pricing and everything is made to order! The employees make you feel right at home!

Maria and her family have taken back over and it is just like they never left!!! My husband and I couldn’t be happier! We missed you Maria please don’t ever go away!!!

Given where I live my options are pretty limited for take out. That said, I’m still not sure I’ll eat here again. Not a huge fan of Greek style pizza to begin with but their pizza is especially bland and generally sloppy and limp. I recently tried the chicken parm sub and it was equally disappointing. Once again bland is the theme. It’s basically just some dry cutlets in a cold sub roll. On the plus side my wife thinks the chicken kabob dinner is passable. Additionally the staff is pleasant.

Can’t believe the original owners sold it. I went today got the minestrone soup with my sandwich, not the same and not very good. It was like a think tomato sauce with canned veggies in it. Just not the same.

They have all the classics that you’d expect from a good sub shop & pizzeria along with a selection of good homemade soups.
The pizza is a good, classic greek style pizza.
But they have the best meatball sub and cutlet (chicken, veal, eggplant) sandwich in the area!!!
All because they are homemade.

Marias has been around for a long time, and I never tried it. I am a Lynwood fan, so I never thought about it. My friend was looking for pizza but he didn’t want Lynwood, so we tried here! The pizza is actually really good and the wait was not long at all! He also had chicken wings which he said were really good!
