Vinny’s Pizzeria and Ice Cream

Been here a bunch of times. Pizzas pretty good but the pasta platter with meatballs, chicken and sausage is the bomb! And for $ 10.30 you get a huge portion. Sauce is perfect. Meatball subs are freaking delish too! Also, they have great lunch specials here from 11 – 3 and it comes with a free soda. Subs and calzones are always wicked good too. Huge array of items on the menu and Vinny is always so friendly!
The other fantastic thing about this place is ice cream! Mickeys ice cream all year round. Tons of flavors and sugar free ones too. I love the Black Raspberry! Frozen yogurt, sundaes and Richies Italian ice. Chocolate dipped waffle bowls and cones. It’s a small place inside but in the summer they set up a few tables outside.
Anyone wanting a sub from Subway that’s moving in next door is crazy not to go here instead. Waaaay better! Plus, doesn’t it always feel better to support a family business!
Heads up on using a credit card for anything under ten bucks. They charge you a 50 cent fee.

Get the pizza! Vinny’s serves Greek-​style pizza, and it is excellent. We stayed in Braintree for a week, and ordered pizza from Vinny’s at least 3 times. The Hawaiian pizza was particularly good.
My husband ordered a veal parmesan sandwich, and he was not at all happy with it. It was still mostly frozen in the center.
If I was rating this place just on the pizza, I would definitely give them a 4-​star review!

The ice cream is amazing! The special brownie sundae lasts for like 3 servings. And I am all about the creamsicle milk shake. Vinny is great too!

Vinnies pizza has been amazing, I still love it but I feel bad because he hasn’t been getting many customers since its a small business but very good food.

I don’t often get too many subs but when I go I only go to a select few sub shops. Vinnys is one of my favorites. they never skimp on their subs. they are always fresh and very tasty. The husband and wife owners are very friendly and welcoming. They seem to really care about pleasing the customer. The place is clean, they have a large menu and ice cream and tables outside for the nice weather. I think it is a fine place.

Play ground just up the street is perfect for a picnic so we tried out vinnys and it was great price and wonderful food. There special chicken sub, meatball sub, chicken, broc & ziti and small cheese pizza. I have to say hard to pick as all was great but pizza and speciality sub for best. Very nice and polite and got everything ready in 15min.

Great pizza– cooked just the way I like it, thin crust, minimum amounts of sauce and with a perfect crust. I will be back :)

Dropped by Vinny’s Pizzeria last week for a couple of slices before I stopped into the dollar store. My pizza was yummy and the owner is just a sweet man!
They sell Italian Slush, too! Ice cream YEAR ROUND!

Fantastic pizza, great ice-​cream! Friendly ladies at the counter and the owner is cool too. These guys are right up the street and always have our back when we’re busy and get home from work too late to cook. Really great chicken cutlet and chicken parm sub! The pizza is thin, New York style… Braintree H.O.P is also amazing but they are more deep dish/​Chicago style.

Vinny is a very nice, great guy! So is the cook, but I don’t know his name so… I’ll call him «Tattoo.»
The food here is great. Tasty meals that have moreee than enough food. One of the only places around here that serves ice cream all year round!
I have been known to get a chicken broccoli and ziti here and it definitely fills you up! If you can even finish it! Or you can try another option, that isn’t even on the menu, I don’t even know why I’m TALKING about it, The Mystical…‘House Special’ sub. It only has 4 ingredients, Chicken, Special Sauce, Everything else (like lettuce and tomato), and MAGIC.
MMMM I could eat one of these everyday! Definitely try this option out for a special Holbrook treat. You won’t be let down.
This sub shop is fairly new compared to others in the town but has earned it’s right to stay here. Mostly because of the friendly, kind service, taking over the ice cream franchise of the retired Mickey’s, and of course, the far above average food!
Give em a try sometime if you’re bored of Holbrook House, or Partners Pizza and such!

Great local pizzeria/​sub shop with the added benefit of an ice cream shop!!! By far the BEST chicken, broccoli, and ziti alfredo dish I’ve ever had. Reasonable prices as well! This dish costs $ 7.95 and is big enough to eat for dinner two nights in a row. Definitely worth your money and time here.
Call ahead ordering or walk-​ins. I usually walk in and wait around 15 minutes at most for my delicious meals. Probably your best bet to call ahead, things can get backed up if there’s only 1 guy behind the grille. Plan on takeout, its very small with only a 3 seated counter. Some outside benches for those warm days but otherwise, no place to sit and eat. The only downside to this is the time between delivery and eating.. . perfect for you pleasure delay-​ers out there!
