Dave’s Pizza & Deli

Given it is in what can be considered an «eerie» area, the food is still GREAT, especially the steak wedge! Dave may not be the most enthusiastic person, but from every experience we’ve had there, he’s a nice guy and makes some awesome food! One of the best «hole in the wall» food places you’ll find in the Logan area!

The pizza was decent. I was honestly surprised that it was as good as it was because this place is scary.
I asked for the bathroom and the guy grunts «Left through the door, first left». I go through the door and am immediately in a horror movie set. Weird hall, dripping noise, no lights. I fumble around but can’t find the bathroom so I go back to the grouch and he tells me «It’s the first left. It’s right there». I get part way down the hall. I find what may be a cellar but I don’t see anything that resembles a bathroom. I flip every switch in the hallway but none of them work. I can’t see a thing. I realize that the squishing noise I hear has to be soaking wet carpet and finally decide that I’ll bail on this freak show and pee in the parking lot outside.
I go back to the restaurant area and when the grump realizes that I still haven’t figured out where the John is he sends his employee to assist. The employee walks me to the first hallway on the left, a cavern more impossibly dark than the first. When I ask the guy he confirms that not a single light in this part of the building is working. I trip over what I think is a coiled vacuum cleaner hose and there by the meager light of my cell phone I see a derelict bathroom. We’ve now reached an 11 on the bizarro scale but I was getting desperate 5 minutes ago when we started this little adventure so aim in the general direction of the toilet and let ‘er rip.
Thankfully I was not attacked by anything out of a Stephen King novel and whatever pathogens I contacted failed to take root but in the future when the little voice in my head says «Just pee in the parking lot»… I will bloody well pee in the parking lot.
