Lucky Feathers Aviary

I’m having a lot of issues with the parrotlet purchase (bird #W769) I made through Lucky Feathers Aviary. It has been a very uncertain and at times traumatic experience for my family. I started to feel really unsafe about the purchase after a little over a week and a half based on conflicting communication regarding shipping and delivery of the bird, and I ended up formally disputing the sale through PayPal when the seller claimed he could not provide any kind of shipping evidence. I have been contacted by a couple of other women who also claim to have had negative experiences with this seller.
I am very thankful I purchased through PayPal, as I’m sure the situation will work out. I still lost valuable time waiting for the bird that never came, along with sleep over all of the anxiety I experienced. We will purchase our birds locally from now on.
**UPDATE**
PayPal took all of the evidence provided by both sides and sided with me in less than a week. I’ve been refunded the full purchase price and am so relieved this is over. I’m so, SO impressed with PayPal!
The seller has written his side out against me on his page, under the bird I purchased. He actually called *me* a scammer, and is threatening adverse legal action to aggressively pressure and intimidate me. The absolute lack of professionalism is astounding!
This has been a really scary experience and a nightmare for my family. My poor son especially was so excited only to be crushed. We are recovering now and are looking forward to a much better experience with a breeder we can visit. Lesson learned!
