By far the best BBQ restaurant in the area, hands down. I’ve eaten here numerous times and even bought a smoked turkey for Thanksgiving that was excellent. What I really like is the pulled pork. It’s consistently the best I’ve ever had. I also like the fact that if all the other places near this area have long waits I can just go here get right in and right out. Wait staff is very friendly. If you go here go on a Thursday. I highly recommend the Thursday special which is a pulled pork sandwich with smoked sausage (mild or hot) and bacon on a toasted bun. You will not be disappointed.

Nice BBQ place All the meats had a smokey flavor so lived up to the name. The amberjack smoked fish spread was delicious Nice quality of fish. We also had the combo platter. Ribs were tender Our favorites were the pork, brisket & hot sausage. The white meat chicken was very tender & juicy. The hot BBQ sauce had a nice kick. Sever was very nice, helpful & efficient and food came out quickly.

First of all I want to say that the servers are nice. It’s little inside but the food tastes good. The wait for the food was very short (which is good). The only thing I worry about is consistency. But it was overall a good experience.

Awesome little place on 19, smells amazing every time you drive by! Today’s special was a pulled pork grilled cheese. Very good. I also love the porky pie. The meat has a great smokey flavor but is still tender and juicy! They also sell smoked fish spreads. Food comes out quick so it’s a great place to go when you’re in a hurry and super hungry :)
**There’s a car detailing place directly next door– so I also had my Suburban completely detailed during lunch. I left full, happy and with a VERY clean truck!

Excellent food and service. We had the brisket, pork and ribs with sides of mac & cheese, coleslaw and beans. Everything was flavorful and cooked just right. I can’t wait to try the smoked fish. We will definitely be back.

Had the pulled pork platter. The meat was fantastic. I ate some with just some plain and some with the sweet sauce. It was really good. If I am ever back in the area I am coming here. The sides were just ok but the meat made up for it. Worth your time.

***UPDATE*** IT’S BEEN TWO HOURS SINCE EATING HERE AND I AM VOMITING LIKE CRAZY! MY STOMACH IS CRAMPED AND I AM LAYING IN MY BED FEELING HORRID. NO WAY WILL I BE COME BLACK TO THIS PLACE.
Great service but the food was lacking flavor. My ribs were a little dry and the brisket in the porky pie was dry as well. The sauces were interesting, however you shouldn’t have to drown your food in bbq sauce to make it satisfying. Maybe we had an off night because all the rave reviews just didn’t add up tonight. I’d classify this place as a coin toss, give it a go if you want.

Had the «Porky Pie» and it was very satisfying and well worth the $ 8. The pork is very smoky and juicy. The garlic mash taters are creamy and yummy. My girlfriend had the 2 combo with ribs and brisket and she was very satisfied. The coleslaw is home made and on par with the big chains, flavor-​wise. The sauces are good but not great. We will definitely be back!

Place is clean and staff is friendly, service is very fast. My husband and I come here a couple of times a month. Pulled pork is wonderful. I cover mine with the sweet sauce. I am always surprised at the volume of take out this place does.

We’ve gotten barbecue from Smokin’ Out a couple of times now. My husband and I are true Southerners, born in TN and graduates of the University of Alabama, so we are particular about our barbecue! This fits the bill — nice smoke taste, good sides, good sauce options (I like to mix the sweet sauce and the hot sauce together). My husband wants to try other things on the menu, but he loves the Porky Pie so much, he can’t bring himself to order anything else! It is a pile of pulled pork, smothered in their garlic mashed potatoes, then covered in shredded cheddar cheese. True comfort food!

Great Ribs, don’t need too much sauce to enjoy. If you try to smoked fish, have it before you’re BBQ. No beer so bring your own (That is OK).

First time in my life I didn’t have to drowned my pork in BBQ or hot sauce. The sign says you won’t need sauce, they’re 100% correct. ‘see pic’ it tastes as good as it looks.
