Brown Floral

I’ve received two arrangements from Brown Floral and both were as beautiful as the next. They called me to confirm delivery which I totally appreciate with my busy schedule and their drivers are so sweet! He made sure I loved them before I left and was so kind! I spoke with them directly about a concern I had and they were quick to help on the phone. I hope to have many occasions for flowers because I will be using them from now on!

We were in a hurry to find my friends mother birthday flowers and Oliva went up and beyond for us! We will be back thank you Oliva!

«We just lost track of your order». That’s what I was told the day after the $ 100+ gift basket and balloons, didn’t arrive on my Daughter-in-law’s birthday. Really? I found another local florist who did a spectacular basket and balloon bouquet and delivered it, with apologies, in two hours. Farewell Brown Floral.

Brown Floral has been around for 100 years! That tells you something, right there. They excel in unique arrangements using only the freshest flowers, and they are reasonably priced. What’s not to love?
Brown made beautiful flower crowns for my daughters, who were flower girls in my brother’s wedding – and when we needed to order an extra one at the last minute, that was no problem!
In addition to gorgeous flowers, Brown Floral also has cute gifts in their shop. These are perfect for teacher or friend gifts – anytime you need something cute to grab and take to someone, Brown is the place to go.

Brown Floral does beautiful floral arrangements. They never look dated or cheap, which has been a problem with other florists I have used. I always request unique arrangements and they do a great job at making unique, classy, beautiful, expensive looking bouquets. Lucky for me, my husband uses them too for special occasions. Everyone is always impressed with the flowers my husband brings home.
Tracie is so great to work with and has made the store beautiful. It’s been updated so perfectly and feels clean and light and airy, and has a wonderful seating area.
They also sell gorgeous potted plants as well as gifts such as books, jewelry, bags, candles and wreaths. Their seasonal items, plants, wreaths and arrangements are always spot on as well.

We were referred to Susie at Brown Floral for our wedding needs. She was SO incredibly fantastic! Our flowers were beautiful. She was flexible, prompt, and had great attention to detail. All around she was just a pleasure to work with! I would highly recommend her and Brown Floral!

This is the third time I have ordered flowers from them. I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my wife (she was having a bad day), the lady on the phone painted the picture in my head of what it was going to look like and did not disappoint! I’m the most indecisive person and they were super patient and super helpful and that is what I like the most about them. They deliver when they say they’re going to deliver (not like these other places). I’ll continue to use them for sure!

I have used Brown Floral on several occasions and their quality of work as well as customer service is always consistently exceptional. Whether I am sending a simple bouquet to my mother in law, ordering a centerpiece for a holiday dinner, or putting together some fun accent arrangements for a friend’s bridal shower, they always go above and beyond to assure that I am completely satisfied with my order. In addition to flowers, they have also done amazing balloons for my kid’s birthday parties (delivered to my door!) and have helped me on several occasions, find the perfect gift I am looking for in their gift shop. I always go back to Brown Floral and I am never disappointed.

My husband orders through FTD and his orders are always sent to Brown Floral. And we always wish there was a way to get FTD to STOP sending his orders there because we are consistently disappointed with the large number of substitutions they do on the orders he makes, and also with the poor customer service.
I want to focus specifically on Valentine’s Day this year. I get a call from the delivery guy saying he’s at my house but no one is answering so what do I want him to do. I tell him that I will be there in 15 minutes. So he says he can leave them on the doorstep. I tell him that’s not okay. And none of my neighbors are home during the day so that’s a no go. So he says he’ll come back in 15 minutes after another delivery.
So I cancel all of my appointments for the rest of the day and go home to wait for him. HE NEVER SHOWS UP. I call back an hour later and get some lame excuse about changing routes and that someone will be to my home in an hour. An HOUR AND A HALF later, and no flowers. And I need to leave to go to the post office before it closes to get a package. So I call again and this guy calls my actual delivery guy, who calls me and tells me that he’ll be there in about 15 – 20 minutes… probably. And I tell him that I really have to leave so probably won’t help me. So he tells me that the flowers can just be left on my doorstep or delivered TOMORROW. Ummmm, are you crazy??? It’s Valentine’s Day and I haven’t seen my husband in almost 6 months because he is deployed!!! So I straight up tell the guy that they need to deliver the flowers THAT NIGHT and that they’ll have to just wait in my driveway because I have been waiting for them all day and that I’m very disappointed that people from their shop keep telling me that my flowers are on the way but they never show up.
Next day (today) I call to speak with the owner, and a girl at the shop (very nice to me) tells me the owner will call me. SHE NEVER CALLED ME.
So I’m just really disappointed at the incredibly poor customer service. I know that Valentine’s Day is very hectic, but this isn’t the first Valentine’s Day that ever happened in the history of flowers. And if you’re in the service industry and can’t handle Valentine’s Day perhaps you should be CLOSED that day. Because my Valentine’s Day was ruined by having to BEG people to bring my flowers to my home and to treat me like a human being. Discourteous. Unprofessional. And ps… the flowers were ugly.

Brown floral did the flowers for my family and bridal party at my wedding. My wedding was at cactus and tropicals so I was worried that the bouquets (including my own) would blend into the scenery. But Brown put together the most beautiful and unique arrangements that managed to stand out among all the other flowers. The prices seemed a little high, but I felt the quality was well worth the price.

A great local florist in Holladay. They have been in business for a century, and do a nice job. The staff is friendly and courteous.
