I loved their lamb gyro with white sauce, & everyone during my ordering was super friendly, which is why I didn’t give them 1 star. The reason for the bad review was I also ordered a Spanakopota which was warmed up on a Styrofoam plate… The Styrofoam actually melted onto my Spanakopota, to which I accidentally ate part of. Dasks was too busy to hear my complaint at the time of my visit, & at the time of this review there was no contact email to notify the owner. Dasks, please do not warm up future dishes on Styrofoam– it is poisonous.

Yikes! Ordered the chicken souvlaki and lemon rice. The rice was SWIMMING, WATERY, SOGGY, and MUSHY. I was so frustrated, because I went there craving Greek lemon rice. There were 4 «bites» of chicken on a skewer. No veggie, no sauce, nothing. The gyro that my husband got looked good, but expensive for what you get! Also the chicken was seasoned well, but was very dry! Such a disappointment! We were reminded why we haven’t been there for years! And probably why the place was nearly empty on a Friday night!

Ugh, I thought I would give this place another shot, it’s absolutely horrible! Had the Lamb kabob’s this time, holy crap was that some dry ass meat! Both the rice and lamb kabob’s were doused with lemon juice. I think whoever runs this restaurant needs to taste the food that they’re serving up, because it is NOBUENO!

The falafel gyro is my favorite! And the fries and fry sauce are great. Give it a try if your in the mood for Greek food.

Always friendly. The owner takes good care of his customers. I love the 2 souvlaki chicken plate and the rice is excellent. Love their pita bread as well.

Did you know they deliver? We’ve used these guys multiple times for catering for company meetings. They always arrive on time and are friendly. The staff love their food. I also eat here several times a month and love the chicken souvlaki and rice. If I’m feeling healthy(which honestly isn’t that often), I will get a greek salad. Their dressing is tasty and not as heavy as some I’ve had at other places. Clean, friendly and good food!

Came here for lunch once. I had a gyro plate that was about average. If you’re looking for Mediterranean food you’re far better off going to Spitz in downtown SLC. However if you’re in a bind and want some Greek, this isn’t a bad choice.

Super tasty. Falafel gyro with yogurt is amazing and the service is super friendly! If you don’t know Greek food it’s a bit confusing to order though.

It is hard to find parking in the parking lot but once you do you can walk into Dasks and walk straight up to the counter. There was no line today which was nice and their service was very quick. After I ordered they brought my food straight to my table which was very nice. I got a falafel gyro which was good but filled with too much lettuce. I think they also slightly overdressed the falafel with the yogurt sauce which is delicious but I did not feel as though I could taste the falafel.

Great food and service are what characterize this place. The portions are pretty decent for the price, and the quality is great. I would recommend this to anyone looking for some good Greek food.

Pretty good Greek food. I really liked the rice and pita. The souvlaki was just ok(pork and chicken), but the gyro looked good. I’ll try that it I go back.

Love the place but can’t stand the guy who works at the front on the weekends. We have ordered take out a few times over the past couple months and every time my wife has called he has put her on hold for at least 5 minutes. When I get there to get my food he is always on his phone and has never been friendly. Food is great but customer service comes first and this guy has no clue what the definition is. Went there today and same guy Was there when I walked in on his phone and not friendly what so ever. There are plenty of other Greek places in the valley with warm greeters, good service and great food. We will be going elsewhere.

A solid choice for a fast lunch with Greek flair. The gyros have a generous portion of meat and plenty of sauce and the pitas are particularly good – I’m guessing they’re made in house because I can taste the olive oil and the texture is great. I’ll come again. A nice find.

Dasks is my lunch time go-to if I’m craving Greek. It’s conveniently located within walking distance of the Cottonwood Corporate center. If you’re expectations are not too high, they don’t disappoint. They offer simple Greek fare that is tasty and fresh. Some of my favorites include their falafel and gyro with white sauce, but for salads I prefer Greek City Grill — just a short(and beautiful) drive down Big Cottonwood Road. I feel that the prices are a bit high for what you get, but what you pay for is the convenience of their location. I usually call in my order and pick it up. If you order in-store it can be a long wait if they’re busy. Order delivery only at your own risk. I’ve had coworkers waiting upwards of an hour for their food.

Great authentic Greek food! Check out the family cooking accolades on the wall. Ask for the Tzatziki(yoghurt) sauce to add to the souvlaki.

For the basics of Greek food, this place gets it. This place is in the little strip mall area behind Zion’s Bank on 3300 East. The place is a counter that you order at plus seating. They deliver your ordered food to your table and remove it when you’re done. I had a lamb gyro in a combo. The salad dressing wasn’t the most flavorful, but the gyro was great. Very soft and well seasoned lamb with juicy tomato, and onion on a soft pita. A great place for lunch!

I went back with a group, and once again it was a mistake. This time I tried their special: a spicy bacon burger with fries and a drink. Problem #1: There were 6 of us and they got 4 of the orders wrong. Problem #2: I only wanted water, not a fountain drink. They couldn’t figure out how to only charge me for water, so I made it easy on them and just got the drink. Problem #3: the spicy burger wasn’t spicy. If I really focused I could barely sense a vinegar taste like what’s in Tabasco, but it mostly tasted like a low quality bacon cheeseburger. Next time I am with a group that wants to go there I’ll more strongly suggest we try somewhere else.

This is a my neighborhood go-to joint for Greek takeout. They are quick and efficient at getting your meal ready. Sometimes they even have a sweet Groupon deal, which is how I first decided to give this place a try. I like the falafel gyro, lamb gyro, mixed souvlaki kabobs plate, spanakopita, hummus, dolmathes, and fried zucchini sticks. Any of the plates come with a choice of 2 sides. I always get the Greek salad and then it’s a toss up between fries or lemon rice. They make a decent Dask’s burger too. This place isn’t the most stellar Greek place that I have visited. Sometimes the falafel can be crumbly and the souvlaki may be a bit dry. However, they are closest Greek place to my house and they are fast and affordable. The spanakopita is probably what they do best.

Love this place for a quick, healthy lunch. I usually get a felafel pita sandwich with feta cheese and cucumbers. Their lemon rice and baklava complete the meal.
