Discount Tire Store – Holladay, UT

I am absolutely locked on Discount Tire 100%. I will continue to purchase and have all my tire needs and services done at Discount Tire. Their service has always been great and always surpassed my expectations. I always replace my tires there and I truly recommend purchasing the certificate they have which is a tire warranty. It is so worth it. If your tire is ever damaged, they replace it with a brand new tire for free. There were a couple times where I had a nail in the tire and it damaged it and another time my tire was basically cut badly and Discount Tire replaced the tire both times with a new tire at no charge what so ever. They also do all the rotation and balancing for free with you tire purchase. Their service is great, fast and very professional.

The service of this dealership was excellent. I arrived at 8am to get a set of new tires for my Mazda CX-​5. Even though I headed back to work, they already had my tires off within about 15 minutes of arriving. The customer service rep welcomed me and took care of my needs. The price was right and I would certainly recommend this store if you are tire shopping.

I was changing 2 tires to winter tires.
Turns out both tires got flat quickly same day to the point of not being able to drive it without chewing up tires.
Customer guy suggested I caught a nail or something… Right, one star for service!

I made the mistake of buying my tires from Sears. I should have bought them here. These guys are professional and friendly. And they stand by their service and product, unlike Sears. There’s a counter with a glass window that looks into the garage bays so you can watch your car being worked on. Their garage bay itself is pretty clean.

Came in late on a Saturday for a tire rotation, and was told they would stay as long as it took to get my car taken care of. Not to mention they did it for free. Great customer service.

A Tale of Two Tire Centers– Dustin was extremely helpful, very courteous. They gave us better tires than we found online and for a better price. They also pointed out two rebates which saved us an additional $ 135. Service was very fast– finished in about 20 minutes. Extremely pleased.
Contrast this to the experience we had calling Sears Tire Center in West Jordan. The total for four tires amount to roughly $ 470 but after install fees he then informed us that the price would amount to well over $ 800! When questioned why such a ridiculous difference just to install the tires he was rude, said «whatever!» and hung up.
Judge for yourself. Who would you go to in this instance? Sears will never get my business. Discount Tires in Holladay tops my list.

These guys are the best. They always meet or beat anyone’s prices. They are quick and always finish in the time promised. They are extremely friendly. The best customer service anywhere. Even if I didn’t live close I would drive across the valley to do business with them!

i have tried to give my business to this store and the discount tire on highland. It seems after the extremely poor service i received before, I tried to give them my business again. I emailed both stores for a price quote and match for a set of tires, twice. They never contacted me back. It was only a few dollars cheaper but like I said I was trying to give them my business. Well after a few weeks of waiting and no return call or email, I went to their competitor, and the competitor actually gave them to me cheaper.
So in short, my business with discount tire is finished.

You can’t go wrong with Discount Tire, and this particular store is a perfect example of why. Even though they were very busy that evening, they were helpful and friendly, explained to me what the problem with my wheels was, fixed them, and had me back on the road in the time they quoted. No charge, of course. You can’t beat that!

They always fix my flat tires (average two or three a year!) and are courteous.
They give me the best deal on new tires (every two to three years).
They are knowledgeable and friendly. It took several attempts for them to get my email address in their system to remind me to get my tires rotated every 6000 miles.
But I visit them too often!

I came in Saturday and it was pretty busy. Typical for a weekend. I’m now back on Monday morning and they couldn’t get the tired I requested in time for my car… So they upgraded me to a better higher mileage tire for free! Then they let me get a trade in discount for one of my tires that wasn’t as worn down. These guys are great. I am happy with my purchase and I feel like I got a great deal. It really is «discount» tires. But in a good way. I’ll be coming back here. Thanks DT!

Even though I have a Costco membership, I’ve always gone to Discount Tire instead. The reasons for doing so were further illustrated by my experience yesterday:
In 2009, I purchased four new tires for my car. The folks at Discount Tire were, as always, extremely helpful. Fast-​forward to last week and I noticed that, following a tire rotation, the front tires were noticeably louder than before. Upon returning to the shop, Robi took a closer look and discovered that they’d started «cupping», wherein the tire surface becomes wavy. So I had to buy four new tires.
But Robi TOTALLY took care of me. He got me a generous credit for the old tires, and a super deal on an upgraded set. That alone saved me over $ 200.00! Plus, there were some rebates that were applied, so I ended up spending a lot less than I’d imagined.
Thirty-​five minutes later, I was back on the road, which was much quieter and comfortable than before. If you ever need tires, I highly recommend Discount Tire. You’ll appreciate the value and expertise at the time of purchase, and beyond.

Amazing experience. Took my car to Discount to have a tire repaired after having picked up a nail. I was in and out within a half hour. The service was superb. Very friendly staff, and it cost me nothing to have the tire fixed and air pressure adjusted even tho I had never shopped at Discount. I would highly recommend this place.

These guys are great. I called them on the road in Reno asking if they could get me a new set of Dunlop Direzza Z2 for my JCW MINI Cooper Clubman. They are new for the season. They called me back in less than 5 minutes with pricing and said they could fix me up with installation at a convenient time for me. Cory did a great job in greeting me and showing me the new shoes. I drive very spirited and wanted to not only know about the new tires but how the old ones did. I bought those 20k ago in Seattle and was impressed to get this mileage from a pair of Dunlop Direzza Star Spec Z1 Extreme Summer tires. Now I will be heading back to California confident I can take advantage of those long stretches of straight road that beg for peddle to the metal.

Today iwas the day to get the snow tires off and the summer tires back on. Pretty basic. The salesman looked at our summer tires and suggested that two of them were to the point where we might want to have them replaced. We have a trip to Vegas planned for the next week, so we said, «Sure. Go ahead.»
We were quoted a price of $ 138 for the two tires. So, off to dinner across the street we go. Half an hour later we make our way back and the Manager, Cory Staker, was just finishing up the car. He pulled it around and we went out to meet him.
He tells us that when he was inspecting the tires he couldn’t really tell which two of the four were the «good» ones, so he just went ahead and threw four new tires on for us… at no extra charge.
Let me repeat: HE PUT FOUR ALL NEW TIRES ON AND CHARGED US FOR ONLY TWO.
Yup, you can’t go wrong with that. He gave us some of his cards and told us to spread the word. Well, I think we’ve got that covered.

I haven’t done anything at this Discount Tire location except have my tires rotated so I can’t say anything about their sales staff. In terms of service they were great to work with, even on the Friday before Labor Day they got my car into the shop fast and I was out of there quickly. The staff I dealt with was friendly and the other customers in the store seemed happy with the service too. Because this location is brand new it is very nice inside with a large waiting room. If you need tires Discount Tire does it right.

Bought tires from here just over 6 months ago. Great service and atmosphere, the new remodel is top notch. I’ve been by twice for tire rotations and have always been treated well. Tire prices are about the best I’ve seen in slc, and their roadside guarantee’s and general service seal the deal. They also didn’t try and up sell me the most or more expensive tire simply because of my taste in sports tires. All in all a great place to get a great set of tires with the peace of mind of quality service and treatment.
