Huge portion of tasty guac. Good tacos. Only downfall was I felt like I was getting overcharged so I added up my bill last time and it was 8 dollars too high. After a bit of hassle and a calculator I was refunded. Worth a stop just keep an eye on your bill.

Before shopping for items needed for Thanksgiving dinner, I figured my dad and I needed a quick lunch break to plan our attack. It was a very small spot that seats maybe 14 people or so. Luckily we were actually able to get a table. So my dad and I went to town ordering a variety of items and of course started off with some guacamole and chips. Of course we had to have some horchata to wash this down with. We ordered the huarache, fish tacos, and chorizo tacos. All of it was very tasty and the salsa was very good too. The staff was very friendly as well. I would love to come back.

Some new additions to your typical Mexican menu plus homemade ice cream and Popsicles made this our new favorite restaurant in Holland. The food is delicious(we had mole, the huarache and a taco), the service was great and you can tell they really care about making good food. They also seem to know and care about their customers. Definitely recommend it!

Do not be skeptical of the way this place looks. If you want Mexican food, don’t think twice; GOHERE!!! We ordered the large guacamole and it is a fresh and authentic as you will ever get. The chips are thick, fresh, and homemade as is everything else. The Taco de lengua might seem a little scary but it is incredible! I was shocked at the flavor it held. The fluatas are a little dry but the rest of the food was absolutely delicious!!! The waitress even took notice of my husbands Afghanistan hat and took the time to shake his hand and thank him for his service. I grew up in Costa Rica and we would walk down the road to get the most delicious Popsicles and they have them there!!! We got the caramel Popsicles and I’m telling you, I was in heaven!!!

I have not actually eaten here, but I have tried their amazing Paletas!(Popsicles) they have water and milk based. They’re not on the menu so I thought I would post pictures of the flavors for you all

The sope is great, as are the tacos!!! Always a very attentive server as well. Every time I’ve been he seems to genuinely enjoy his job. Love it.

Absolutely amazing. I am not a huge fan of traditional Mexican food but this place makes me want to go back. The fajitas are delicious and the chips are crispy with the perfect amount of salt. I highly recommend a large order of guacamole as it is some of the best I’ve had!

This place was fantastic. Really laid back casual Mexican joint. Family owned and very friendly staff. My husband and I stopped in here after playing golf one afternoon while on our mini moon. Some of the best Mexican I have had in a while. Try the huarache or the al hombre platter. The Popsicles are amazing. This family owned establishment is a must go.

This is an adorable shack that has authentic Mexican food. Enchiladas were ~ $ 9 for 3. Our server was very nice and efficient. They have a drive-thru but I believe it’s all cooked to order, so it takes a minute.(I’m writing this review as I’m waiting) We ordered a flouta, a beef taco with the works, an enchilada platter, chips and guacamole, and an ice cream bar, homeade, cheesecake flavored. The whole thing came to less than 25.00!

Small restaurant with limited seating but they do have a drive thru window. I ordered the Tacos al Pastor dinner and it was incredible, the corn tortilla shells were flaky and flavorful and the meal was served with red and green sauces on the side, the green sauce was so fresh and spicy that I was disappointed when it was gone! I also had the small guacamole, which was just enough for one person!

Some of the bet Mexican in West Michigan. Their pastor is especially good. It’s very small but there’s a lot of outdoor seating if the weather is nice. The food is fantastic. Pay the $ 1 and get the chips– they’re REALLY good as are the accompanying sauces. The service is always nice but can be a bit of a wait as it’s usually one waitress and the folks cooking in back. The homemade paletas are to die for. Make sure and sample at least one!

Wow very good authentic Mexican food. Save some room for the home made«Popsicle» type dessert they are great. I had the Tlayuda and is was great. This is a «Terminator Restaurant» as in «I’ll Be Back» This is a small place only four tables inside and a couple picnic tables outside.

First off I love small places that look like nothing. Every year we are holland we always stop at this place. The red salsa is fire hot and i love it. The prices are very reasonable and the food is made fresh which is one thing I love the most. We always eat outside because inside is warm. Just noticed the fresh made Popsicles this year. Wow out of this world. Be prepared to wait a bit for your food but know it will be outstanding. Menu in Spanish but you can make it out.

This is not just the best Mexican restaurant in Holland it is hands down the best restaurant of any kind in town. It’s an unassuming family run shop, they make pretty much everything on sight. The eponymous Huarache with chorizo is my favorite dish, my wife prefers gorditas and tacos. Really everything we’ve tried has been great. I just had the burrito, also great. I’d highly recommend trying the ice cream before you leave. I love the pistachio and pine nuts, but again, a lot of great options.

We asked for all vegetarian meal, however, we got poor service in terms of the time taken to serve us and the Quality of ingredients. It took them. 3 tries to make it Correctly! Very upset with service. On the contrary, ice cream candy all flavor were really yummy!

Hands down the best Mexican restaurant in West Michigan. Family friendly too. One can only assume the ingredients are fresh upon palatial contact. Truly a symphony for the tastebuds. The Huarache is the flagship. Corn dogs and homemade ice cream are kid favorites. Family oriented service. Only my second 5 star.

What a great find! My friend and I ate here and we both tried the Huarache with Pastor(spicy pork). The homemade corn tortillas are amazing and the ingredients are fresh. Very friendly and fast service. An ice cream bar for dessert is also a must. I will definitely be going back!

It’s was ok I’m in the Chicago area so I’m used to all Hispanic spices, everything was very bland. Pozole was sooooooo bland I had to load my bowl with limes & salsa & it was still NOT right. Everything was bland, I was disappointed as the reviews were all 5 stars so I expected it to be very flavorful & it’s was not. My homemade Tamarindo was even bland, watered down. The only thing that was good, their fresh chips. Idt I’ll eat there again when I visit my brother.
