Great staff, great selection of products! LOVE the general store! They have everything from groceries to beach toys. Awesome place to hangout at after a fun day at the beach!

After a day at the beach the kids needed some ice cream to cool off. This is the place to go. They have tons of flavors of both hard and soft ice cream. Beautiful deck outside to take in some people watching. After the ice cream, stop into the general store and get everything else you need for the evening at the campsite. Very friendly staff throughout. Thanks for the great service!

We go here a lot in the summer and we don’t have any complaints. They have my favorite ice cream that most places don’t have and that is the coconut almond. It’s so good!

If you’re already at Holland State Park, OGS is the best stop for stuff: ice cream, some groceries, gear, shirts, souvenirs, and more ice cream. It’s nice to have a place like this close to the beach for limited shopping. But OGS has gone through a change of ownership in recent years, and I imagine long-​term viability is a concern. If beachgoers want it to stick around, they’ll have to choose to shop here. For me, it’s really all about the ice cream.

«walking taco»
It’s a small bag of Fritoes, with chili, fresh diced white onion, cheese, sour cream, salsa, and whatever else you ask them to dump in there… and a plastic fork sticking out the top.
Costs $ 2… terrible for you, but tastes great.

Great place with tons of different ice cream flavors — I don’t know what the other reviewer was talking about — they have everything!
We go there with our family — a great place for kids. Lots of campers go there in the evenings. Watch out though — it gets busy on summer nights!
Cute store, reminiscent of a different time. Holland is gorgeous in the summer, there is no better place to be. And this place is about a 5 minute walk to the beach.
Also — the candy selection inside is huge — kids love it!

No other flavor ice cream except the Bubblegum? You advertise as a place that sells ice cream?
A mom and pops store but they need to be at least stocking that freezer with ice cream. Holland is muggy and warm in Summer.

Great ice cream and very friendly *ahem* staff of young ladies serving the ice cream. This place gets really really busy in the summer, and the line can be long. But, if you’re here, you’re probably on vacation so where do you really have to be anyway? They’ve got no public restroom, which cost them two stars. Well, it really only cost them one but the wisea$$ employee that told me there was no public restroom cost them the second star because he was rude.
