September’s Bride

Wish I would have gotten my dress here. I went somewhere else and the whole process was just AWFUL! Every girl I’ve talked to that went here had a really great experience. Friendliest staff ever that is so excited for every bride that walks in. Good selection.

This place is FANTASTIC, they’ve got a great selection of dresses and a wonderful staff. I find their prices competitive and reasonable and if you’re getting married in the Holland/​Grand Haven area I highly recommend them… they’ve also got a great blog and provide excellent referrals for photography and other things you might need to plan your day.

This is such a wonderful little salon! From the moment I walked in I could tell my experience here was going to be more special than those experiences I had at the larger big box bridal stores, and it was.
I visited in the early afternoon on a Tuesday, and Tami (the owner) immediately welcomed me, introduced herself, and asked what I was looking for. Without skipping a beat, she immediately suggested some dresses that she thought would fit the look I was going for. With the store being as small as it is, I didn’t think I’d find much of what I was looking for, but I was wrong.
She walked me over to one of the racks and showed me the dresses, told me a bit about them, and then allowed me to peruse the rest of her stock while she readied a fitting room upstairs. I was happy enough with the selections Tami had made for me, and so we headed upstairs.
I was happy to see that the fitting rooms were not teeny-​tiny like some can be. With all those dresses you need room to move! Her assistant and mother, Kristi, was on hand to help me with all the gowns. She was very patient and helpful with getting me cinched into various gowns. I never felt bad asking her to hold a strap or adjust the train, because she was just that eager to help.
While I didn’t purchase my gown here, I haven’t had a better gown shopping experience. Both Tami and Kristi were so kind, patient, knowledgeable and honest. There were really no drawbacks to this salon. I highly recommend it, whether you’re at the beginning of your search or nearing the end.
